Description: About: theMINT: envisioned in the past, resurrected by opportunity, executed by experience, enriched by community, growing through innovation What We Do: Gastropub refers to a bar and restaurant that serves high-end beer and food.[1] The term gastropub, a portmanteau of gastronomy and pub, originated in England in the late 20th century. English pubs were drinking establishments and had little emphasis placed on the serving of food. Then that all changed. theMINT is an AMERICAN Gastropub that focuses on premium food and beer as well as premium spirits, cocktails, and martinis.

Our third time there. Love the converted bank building setting, great attentive service and interesting menu selections. The appetizer and entree menus are diverse and unique. My favorite are the mussels with French fries in a lobster sauce. They do gave an amazing beer selection as well as wine.

My fiance and I had dinner at TheMint recently and, food-wise, enjoyed it. To get the negative out of the way immediately--during our meal, the noise level rose so high that my head was ringing, I had to get out of there. There does not appear to be any sound absorption; there is a tile floor, a solid ceiling, and... More

The service was very good and attentive. The ambiance was cool, but the food was not great. I had hoped for much more than we got. The menu was decent, portions were on the small side and prices were on the high side. I don't mind dropping some money for great food, but just did not feel wowed by anything... More

I had a very nice dinner here with my family. The food was inventive and thoughtfully put together. There was a great beer list to accompany everything. I was overall impressed!

I have been to TheMint twice now. Both times the meal has been great. The first visit was on a Saturday night and it was busy. It was noisy from peoples chatter but I felt it wasn't bothersome. I had the lamb that night. Lamb is one of my favorite menu choices, so I have have tasted a lot of... More

We had dinner at The Mint while visiting Bethlehem with a large group of family and friends on a recent Saturday night. Most of the group had been the previous night and were so impressed with their experience they wanted to go back again. I'm so happy they did, our dinner was awesome, everything we tried from the Fried Chicken... More

After dining at most of what Bethlehem has to offer, we finally had the opportunity to sample the fare at The Mint Gastropub. For starters, the restaurant is a refurbished bank including the depository, drive-thru window, and vault (which is now a wine cellar). We had reservations for a Saturday night and had no wait to be seated. I browsed... More

While the food here is decent-good luck in them having the entree you want. And the service is downright awful-terrible!! The wait staff will put a gratuity on your bill if they want no matter the size of your party-beware!!

I always enjoy going to The Mint. It is a bit loud and 'cozy', but the service, food and drink makes up for it. The menu always has a familiar favorite with a nice twist. My wife had the pot pie this past visit, which was excellent. The drink menu is top notch, with a great selection of both bottled... More

I decided to try out this restaurant because is received good reviews...but I wouldn't make another trip there for dinner. I had mussels and frites...the mussels were alright but the frites were in the same dish with the white wine sauce and were soggy...not the way I like frites!
