A lamb shank worthy of Fred Flintsone

I was looking for some pastichio, Greek lasagna, and that dish was on their menu so off we went. The egg lemon soup was well prepared, the Greek salad was incredibly fresh, the pastichio was tasty and enhanced by a sauce rich with cinnamon, but the hit of the evening was the lamb youvetsi. The... read more

I arrived at the tail end of Sunday brunch, and the woman who seated me seemed surprised I was there to eat. She sat me next to a large table which had children in the group, one of whom kept walking around swing what appeared to be a tie. She came very close to hitting me with it several times... More

I have been to Yianni's at least 2 dozen times. This was by far my most favorite place for a nice dinner. There used to be a guy (bald guy that seemed like a manager or something) that would come around and talk to you and make sure you were being taken care of. The last few times I have... More

We came here due to the high ratings from TripAdvisor, OpenTable, and the like. I really don't understand what the hype is about. The bread was hard as a rock. It's a good thing we were given a sharp knife. The oil and spices were good. My wife got the octopus and said it was the best thing she ate... More

Each and every time I visit Yianni's Taverna in Bethlehem, PA I have no regrets at all. First the atmosphere will put you in the spirit of the Greek Islands. The Greek Blue is captivating. Then when you peek at the portfolio of delights that grace the menu you will be hard pressed to enjoy it all. You MUST try... More

Ordered the soup du and I was unpleasantly surprised to find a miniature life forms in the soup. As I dined the house across the street was on fire and I swear the staff was smirking about it. Never again. Should be shut down.

I was here on Valentine's Day. It was a very busy night at the restaurant. Right away I was relaxed by the soft lighting and crisp white and blue colors. We were early for our reservations because of the snow. We let the hostess know and asked her if she could possibly sit us early. She said she would see... More

My boyfriend and I were impressed by the romantic atmosphere at this restaurant. We sat in the relaxing chairs and had some happy hour wine for $5/glass to begin (until 7 most days) then we moved on to dinner. Everything is delicious. Tony was our waiter and he was very attentive and helpful. Great evening overall.

We made reservations and got there 10 minutes early and had no problem getting a seat as we are early eaters and we off to a show after dinner. But the place began to get more and more full as we ate, so I think on a weekend you may want to make a reservation in case. So, we were... More
