We made reservations and got there 10 minutes early and had no problem getting a seat as we are early eaters and we off to a show after dinner. But the place began to get more and more full as we ate, so I think on a weekend you may want to make a reservation in case. So, we were... More

we celebrated New Year's Eve with a flavorful dinner at Yianni's. I started with beet salad, which was terrific. The huge pastitsio was a great choice. My husband loved his smelt and spinach and cheese puffs. We look forward to returning to try other specialties.

Comfortable dining room, the color coordination tied in nicely with the Greek theme. The food was good, not great but probably worth a return trip for seafood. The menu was very good but the food did not command the price and so I would have to say the value was average compensated for by the other attributes. The service was... More

My friend and I stopped in for a nice Sunday afternoon dinner. We shared an appetizer, Tuna tartare with avocado, which was excellent in both taste and presentation. I had the whole grilled snapper with lemon potatoes and steamed greens. The fish and potatoes were excellent but the greens were bland. I also had a beet salad, which was good, but... More

Decided to stop and get a bite to eat after spending the day in Bethlehem. We had a great server Bobby. He made some recommendations and we took his advice. Didn't regret it. hubby had the moussaka and I had a gyro with lemon potatoes. We both enjoyed our meal. The ingredients were fresh and well prepared. I had a... More

We have eaten at Yianni's 3 times in the past few months and have never been disappointed. It's a bit off the beaten track, just off a barren stretch of Rt. 378 a mile or so south of southside Bethlehem. It's not much on the outside, but once inside you are transported. The bar/lounge area has a cool, contemporary feel... More

The service was very rushed and the music too loud to really enjoy dinner with friends. The bread was surprisingly non interesting for a greek restaurant. The starters were ok (the grilled octopus was great) but the entree portions were very variable, chicken was large and the cod was tiny (tomato sauce was not that great either). Finally a Greek... I had an incredible beet salad...so amazingly delightful. We also had 3 of the dips..cucumber, eggplant, and garlic. I would leave the eggplant off next time- slimey and lacked flavor. The food was expensive, but prepared to perfection! I would surely return my next time to PA.

I worked in a Greek restaurant in NY for years and am very familiar with Mediterranean cuisine. Typically it is simply prepared, fresh and delicious. The food at Yianni's just didn't wow me. It seemed rather bland and I actually left half sitting on my plate, which is unusual for me. It all needed more garlic, lemon, mint, SOMETHING. It... More

Yianni's is a beautiful place for a special night out, we've chosen it on several occasions to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays. We've always found the servers to be knowledgeable and eager to please, even on a busy night. I really enjoy the moussaka and beet salad, while my husband flips over the Agean Platter.
