Good Breakfast

I've been here a few times, but always get breakfast food. This is a run of the mill Diner. We went recently for dinner at 6pm, we were the only customers. I worry about the freshness of restaurants that aren't busy.

I have tried this restraurant twice for breakfast, since it's close to home. Breakfast was fine, standard diner fare. No problem there. But the service was just terrible. Both times, the waitresses didn't listen, were forgetful, and inattentive. They were more interested in being at the counter chatting with the regulars than paying attention to their tables. There are plenty... More

Stopped in after a show at Levitt Pavilion at Steel Stacks. We never eat there because it is too expensive. Anyway, we thought we'd give this a shot. It used to be Nick's Diner when our son worked here as a kid. It has changed hands and I don't think the food is that bad. Breakfast is still the meal... More

Food was awful. No taste, not fresh, burnt, not seasoned, mushy, it was awful. I think this place changed owners recently and since then went downhill. Stinks because the servers are nice, but it still doesn't make up for the crappy food. If you're looking for a diner in Bethlehem The Palace is the way to go.

Always looks crowded but lots of seating and servers. Prices are very reasonable and good quality is good. Breakfast has a great variety and comes hot and fast. Dinners also good quality.

I have gone to the restaurant only a few times. That is because I didn't discover it earlier. the food is good and served in large amounts. The service is quick and friendly. and best of all the prices are low. I find the menu to have a fairly large selection without being long enough to be considered a short... More

Overall poor breakfast experience! It did start off good, we were seated as soon as we walked in on a Sunday morning which was surprising. The decor is extremely outdated and in desperate need of an upgrade; chairs looked like they were from the 50's, table was wobbly, the menus were sticky and they don't even bother filling the inserts... Went here with friends, last minutes, after doing a 5K and being colored (Color me Rad 5K splashes you with color!). It was a quick sit. Decent service, but we were sat next to the computer where the staff entered information-- I felt like their behinds were in my face while eating-- kinda annoying. The French toast was good! I... Went to the Valley Family Restaurant the other morning with some of my retired co-worker. The waitstaff was very friendly and constantly refilling our coffee cups, not an easy task seeing every table was occupied and there was a line of patrons waiting to be seated. I ordered a simple breakfast consisting of two eggs over easy, crisp bacon and home fries.... More
