Visited deli this past week. Huge disappointment on many levels. Our waiter was horrible. He never bothered to mention specials, offer drink refills or ask if we wanted dessert. For some reason, they only had plain rye. Who runs a deli without marble and pumpernickel rye? The restaurant was not busy but we waited far too long for two sandwiches.... More

This is not as good as the one in New York, but still decent. Great comfort food such as matzo ball soup (all matzo ball with little soup...perfect), and knishes. The sandwiches are enormous, which is why the prices look outrageous. Either order a whole sandwich and plan to take half home or order from the half sandwich menu. I... More

The food and service were very good. I liked the idea of having a late afternoon menu and so much to choose from.

You haven't lived until you've been to the Carnegie in NYC. It's a nice dining option for Bethlehem.

Was in the mood for a salad so I brought a customer here for lunch and boy was I surprised. I figured it would be overpriced since the restaurant is at the Sands and the prices were a bit on the high side but you got so much food that you can take it home for a second meal. If... More

Share a plate if you order the Pastrami sandwich and I can tell you it will be the best Pastrami you will ever have! Located in the Sands Casino, the service is quick and the food that travels by you in route to the customers will make your jaw drop due to the size of the servings! We always SPLIT... More

You can't really go into a sandwich joint at a casino and expect a gourmet meal. But this place has a great menu, and the sandwiches and burgers are delicious. The service is extremely slow, though. Fair warning!

Just short of what to expect from the original namesake. A sandwich will run you $18 plus....There are other offers in the venue and menu but the price continues to rise and we are talking sandwich folks. Not the place for the savings

the last time I was there I was disappointed, this time I wasn't. I think the key is to order from the deli not a meal. I had 1/2 a turkey and it came with a side. I also know not to order lettuce/tomato as they charge for it (or the tomato?) my husband enjoy his 1/2 pastrami too. It... More

We have eaten here several times before. It does not have the same atmosphere as the one in NYC but the sandwiches are piled high with meat. We always share a sandwich as a half is more than enough. Our waiter was polite and checked back frequently to fill water etc. I gave it a three because the atmosphere just... More
