Visiting friends and family, looking for a festive holiday luncheon, we entered the tavern. drinks were great. Service was pleasant. Having always had great food in this town (Apollo, Jumbars) we were disappointed. Macaroni and cheese was comforting and yummy, but white on white on white, with nary a garnish to be had. Wild mushroom meatloaf was very dry, and... More

So disappointed ! I have lived in the area all my life. Always look forward to anything at this beautiful historic hotel but today was my last visit there. 10 of us went for a traditional Christmas lunch but everyone was so disappointed this year. Food was sub standard ,cold and tasteless . Service was atrocious which added to our... More

This is such an inviting place for lunch during the holiday, especially if you are lucky enough to get a window table. The service was very attentive, although our server's use of the word " absolutely" was rather distracting! I had the carrot ginger soup, which was very tasty, but not quite as warm as i would have expected., as... More

The Tap Room is a more casual (yet still elegant) option for dining at Hotel Bethlehem. The menu is varied offering a nice selection of appetizers. We chose a nice cheese plate to share. There is an assortment of salads, hot and cold sandwiches and entre selections. My husband chose a portabella, spinach and artichoke meatloaf entre that was to... More

Just exceptional! Every year we come to Bethlehem and stay at the hotel and have the Thanksgiving brunch. It is beyond delicious, classy and amazing. Something for everyone! It is now a twelve year tradition! We are looking forward to another twelve years!

The food here is good, although not one of the best meals I have ever had. This is a wonderful place to go for a traditional, old world experience. The food is good, the service wonderful. While it is beautiful at all times, it is a not-to-be-missed tradition at Christmas time. Children will be more comfortable in the less formal... More

We ended up at the tap room after we found out that the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. The coffee was luke warm and down right cold if you liked to add cream to it. A small cup for $3 was a bit much. They only gave refills if you asked. The Desserts we tried were creme... More

The Tap Room is the bar area of the Hotel Bethlehem and it shares the same kitchen as the 1741 room, which means you get the same quality of food for a lesser price. You still get great service from the waiters. The menu, obviously, is not the same as the 1741 room but there is a broad enough selection... More
