What a great place for lunch

Living in Nazareth, my wife and I eat here regularly. The food and service are first rate. This is the kind of restaurant where each item on the menu is prepared with top ingredients and a little special flair. The staff are very welcoming.

My wife and I had dinner there (1741 on the Terrace) on Friday, Feb. 5th. We had been there before but not for a few years. We were pleased to note the menu had been updated but still had the classics and a few new items. The chef is from the Farmhouse in Emmaus which went out of business a... More

We stopped in for Happy Hour on Friday during our two night stay at the Hotel Bethlehem. The place was quite crowded but we found two places at the bar. Our wine was served promptly by the very efficient and friendly bar tenders. Very tasty nuts were available for free, and for Happy Hour the drinks were only $5.00 as... More

This is a beautiful hotel and I'd love to stay here one day. We were visiting Bethlehem for the day and visited the coffee shop/ ice cream shop downstairs for a latte. The coffees were good but at $4.50 for a small latte seemed a little overpriced.

Disappointing! Hotel Bethlehem used to be a place to dress, jeans and t-shirts were off limits. Hot, hot, hot....that's what it felt like in the Terrace Room with people wearing sun glasses to shield their eyes. Food was just Ok. The desserts tasted like they were frozen and brought in....nothing exciting. For a price of $105. for 2 people this... More

Reserved here for Saturday night dinner during Lehigh family weekend. While it's a lovely historic hotel atmosphere, the Tap Room is really just a lobby bar with a pretty staid menu and unexceptional food. We also sort of felt like we were a side show to the two wedding receptions that were taking place simultaneously at the hotel, upon which... More

The food and service is excellent. Do not forget to look around the walls and pillars. Pictures of all the famous people who ate there. Parking is free.

Hotel Bethlem is always attractive but especially beautiful around the holidays!! I met a friend there for lunch and everything was delicious. The gift shop also had unique and affordable items. And don't miss out on having an ice cream from Penn Stare's creamery in the downstairs area next to the gift shop.

Went here for lunch to give it a try, not having been here before. For such a nicely appointed restaurant and hotel, our expectations for a memorable meal were high, so we didn't expect the food to be such a disappointment. They have several menu items that are marked as their "signature" dishes, which means they are historically well-known for... More
