Good Pub food

Right off the casino floor and a little noisey. The food was good and reasonably priced with early bird specials on both food and drink. The service was friendly and efficient.

We have been to St. James Gate a number of times while visiting the Sands. We love it for sitting at the bar for a few drinks and the great service at the bar. However, we will never go back again. The turn-off is the host staff. We stayed at the Sands last weekend for a birthday celebration. We stopped... More

I will preface this review by stating that this restaurant was the last restaurant we ate dinner at during our stay at The Sands Hotel and Casino, Bethelem, PA. The previous dinner were at Emeril's restaurants. St. James Gate Irish Pub and Carvery had a nice pub vibe about it. Staff were friendly, pleasant and attentive. The food was good... More

Server we had was excellent, food excellent, well presented and price was terrific. Definitely put this on your eats-list when visiting the Sands Casino.

This is located inside the casino, yet you would not know so from inside the restaurant. Very friendly and competent staff! I have been here several times and recommend the fish and chips, and the Reuben sandwhich. Typical Irish Pub menu, but was disappointed that the menu was not larger. Atmosphere is nice. Get there early for the early bird... More

This is your average restaurant. I have been to some pretty fantastic Irish Pubs in my time and this was not one of them. It is average food and average price. It wasn't bad but it wasn't irish either.

I made a reservation to St James Gate for a saturday about 3 weeks ago. They decided to close the restraunt because of "weather" and decided to not inform me not call me and not accomadate me at all. When the manager of the restraunt finally decided to call me left a half hearted voice mail told me to call... More

This was a great choice each time I went. Great Food, and prices. Disappointed it was closed for private events 4 nights I was there. Would wish they kept the bar open to order food.

You'll enjoy this dandy irish pub. Although its part of the Sands Casino in Bethlehem it still feels like an authentic Irish Pub. The food was good, the portions large and the onion soup quite worthy. After ordering I saw several people order the chicken and waffles that looks quite filling; I will try it next time.

Went here for dinner prior to a show in the event center as it was the most reasonably priced option for a true sit down meal in the complex. We started our meal with a appetizer special of shrimp dip. I delicious blend on shrimp, spinach and cheese in a cream sauce with sour dough bread. Wife then had the... More
