Wonderful birthday meal

I never ate at Bolete prior to May 2015. I had heard it was one of the best restaurants in the Lehigh Valley but it is by far the best! Be ready for a really lovely culinary experience. Be ready for small portions. Be ready for a big bill. Not for an average Friday night out, definitely special occasion restaurant. Reservation needed. Bill was over $100, 2 people, no drinks.

Decided to make reservations and take the hour drive down based on the reviews and was not disappointed. The fresh baked goods served at the table were delicious! My husband and daughter both had Eggs Chizmar while I opted for the Lobster Roll. We also indulged in dessert. My husband said that his carrot cake was the best that he... More

Bolete is our favorite restaurant in the Lehigh Valley. Excellent food and the menu varies often. Good service and friendly owners. It is expensive but worth it.

Wow, Bolete is just great. The chef is so creative combining items you may question if they all go together, then you taste the dish and wow. I understand this chef at this location is up for a James Beard Award, it would not surprise me at all if he didn't win it. Bolete is great for dinner and the... More

Bolete takes a dinning out experience to a whole new level. The food is prepared fresh and presentation is spot on ! Every meal comes to your table worthy of being photographed. The decor is old and rustic and has old country charm. Having trouble deciding what to order my wife and I shared the beef Carpaccio. My wife never... More

One of the best meals and dining experiences we've EVER had! Relaxing, beautiful, rustic & genuinely historic atmosphere. Wonderful genuine service - very detail oriented & helpful without being over bearing - Goldy Locks 'just right'! The food- so personal- exquisitely thought out & presented. Next time I'm going to get the seven course chef choice meal so everything can... More

Great experience. The service is spot in and the food is farm to table delicious! Very romantic little spot with lots of additions to both the drink and food menus to keep you coming back

1st time visit. What a great experience. Chestnut soup was on the menu which I haven't seen or had in years. All three of us decided to try it. After about three spoonfuls of silence, we all agreed that it was the best soup we have ever had! This was followed with stellar entries. I had Sea Bass. My friends... More

I'm kind of baffled with the amazing reviews for Bolete. We tried this place out for a birthday brunch this past Sunday. This was noted on our reservation. There was no mention of the celebration and the wait staff took a long time to even acknowledge that we were standing in the "lobby." I quote "lobby" because it's a tiny,... More
