A truly beautiful place with exquisite dishes

This restaurant is worth the trip. It was as if we were in a French provencal home. Quaint décor and attentive, warm staff. We had a brunch which included still warm mozzarella, fresh squeezed orange juice, delicious coffee, pan fried toast, hash, and organic local eggs.

Outstanding all around. The food is exceptional farm to table cuisine. The wait staff is expertly trained and some of the finest in the Valley. The Hostesses and the bar tender make you feel like long time friends. My husband and I have been coming to Bolete for 4-5 years. We have never been disappointed. Whenever we have an important... I've been to many different cities and countries, and I was surprised to find out that the best place to eat was right in my backyard. Bolete is an experience. The wait staff works hard on being knowledgeable on all the food served and is very patient and calming. Then there's the food. The menu may be small but you... More

the Food was good. The service was terrible from the long wait to be seated (there was no host or hostess) even though we had a reservation to the extra long wait for our waiter to come to our table.

There are few restaurants that warrant a destination experience. Would you stay in a hotel just to be able to have a dinner at the restaurant? Bolete is such a place. The food was mostly locally sourced. They graciously accommodated a gluten intolerance. The presentation and food was world class. The setting was charming(old stage coach station). I can't think... I love Bolete. The chef rotates the menu based upon what he can get from the local farms in the Lehigh Valley. The food is always fresh and is always perfectly prepared. I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. It is on the pricier side but worth every penny.

Six of us for brunch were accommodated without a problem. I don't know if they own a tablecloth that fits a table for 6 or not but ours was the only table without one. Restaurant was not crowded for Sunday brunch but it was active. The noise level was low making conversation easy. The food was very, very good. The... More

It was difficult for me to find a single thing on the menu that wasn't made with ingredients I dislike. When I finally settled on a burger, I was told they were out of fresh meat to make the burger. Others in my party, who veer more toward the gourmet, were not satisfied with their meal. Too pretentious for my... More

Every time we visit Bolete we are amazed by the cuisine. This last time we visited with a very well known chef and restaurant owner on both coasts. We told him and another restaurant owner from San Francisco that we thought the quality of cuisine was outstanding. We came on a week night without reservations and were treated very well.... More

Can’t Wait To Try Dinner! A trip to Bolete has been a long time coming but scheduling and available reservations for dinner have been elusive. While that hasn’t been good for me, it is a good thing for Bolete! Fast forward to a decision to try brunch instead… Brunch reservations were easy! We arrived early to the old small house... More
