Description: It is the desire of 1741 on the Terrace to engage you and invite you. Try something new or revisit something familiar but above all -- enjoy. Relax in the ambiance of the room – the beautiful Moravian tile floor and soaring Palladian windows. Admire the charming downtown of Bethlehem with buildings and history dating back to the day in 1741 when the town itself was founded. The wine list - developed to inspire not to impress – is filled with wines from around the world, but with a focus on American wines. Frequent diners at finer restaurants will be impressed with the selection of wines available, but the list has been crafted to make the choices easy for a novice as well. Our sommelier is available to aid wine selection or custom pairings for any menu items upon request.

After dinner in another restaurant, Carmen and I stopped in for a drink and to look around. After numerous bad experiences I wasn't there to engage, it was to get a drink and run. Carmen ended up in a conversation with the hostess of the 1741 room. I refused to engage as that I wanted nothing to do with it.... More

$30 per person. When you make a reservation, be sure to ask to be seated on the Terrace. Overflow seating is in the Tap room, which is not as nice. The brunch features all of the best standards: omelet station, carving station, steamed shrimp, etc.

We celebrated two anniversaries and 6 of us stayed at the Hotel Bethlehem and purchased their Romance package. We had a great time. The rooms were very nice and clean, the hotel itself is beautiful and friendly. We had champagne(not expensive but good) and chocolate covered strawberrries upon checking into our rooms. It also included our breakfast which, although, standard... More

I took my father here for Father's Day. What a good choice. Our server was funny and friendly. The food was AMAZING, and the desert was out of this world. Views from the restaurant and hotel are beautiful. Highly recommended for families or couples!

Ate here during Bethlehem Restaurant Week. Meals and drinks were excellent. Beautiful seating area with large windows overlooking Main Street Bethlehem. Service was a little on the slow the side, dinner was over 2 hours. Somewhat pricey, but great choice if traveling through the area and staying at the hotel.

The chef, Michael Adams, is one who we have been following for many years, and this was his introduction to the Hotel Bethlehem 1741 Room. My husband had the duck and I had the lamb, two of his specialties. The food was fresh and expertly prepared. You couldn't have a better dinner anywhere.

I hadn't eaten here in a few years. The Food was great. The service was slow. The they added a 20% gratuity without telling me. Good thing I looked closely at the bill. I've never herd of that on such a small party. Maybe a group of 8 but 5?

With the new edition of Chef Michael Adams, the 1741 Terrace in the Hotel Bethlehem is back to the excellence that it was known for in previous years. The new summer menu is delicious. We can't wait to go back and are looking forward to new menus every season.

Great dinner in a romantic setting. Decent selection cooked to order. Nothing frozen on this menu all made fresh.
