It is the desire of 1741 on the Terrace to engage you and invite you. Try something new or revisit something familiar; but above all, enjoy. Relax in the ambiance of the room, with its beautiful Moravian tile floor and soaring Palladian windows. Admire the charm of downtown Bethlehem with buildings and history dating back to 1741 when the town itself was founded. The menu changes seasonally, with locally-inspired dishes by Executive Chef Michael Adams. The wine list is extensive -- with many exciting options from America and around the world. Our experienced servers are also available to aid in your wine selection or suggest custom pairings to the menu items upon request.

I have lived in Bethlehem all my life and this is the first time I went to the Sunday Brunch but it wont be the last. We were all very happy with the food selections, taste and cost. I have been told that you don't need reservations but found that YES they are best because some weeks (like this... read more

Good food, wait staff has a hike to get food from kitchen to table. Went during holidays so might have been a bit crowded, or understaffed, but food was good.

I would've given this place a 5 stars because the food was incredible, the was wine delicious, the setting festive and very classy. However, they forgot to include the scrumptious parsnip puree on my husband's braised short ribs dish - not mine, and the waitress seemed noticeably aggravated that we had come in to eat that evening and required her... Rowena, our server, could have not have been more pleasant and attentive. I asked to change my entree. She satisfied my request with a smile and pleasant attitude. She continued to be sweet and friendly throughout out the night, I thought she should be recognized for her exemplry service.

First off our reservation was for 8:00 P.M. on Christmas Night and we arrived at 7:30 P.M. and where seated right away which was nice. Our waiter came to the table and asked if there where any questions on the menu which we had none. So we ordered two shrimp cocktails, filet mignon and the lump crab meat. The shrimp... More

We were staying at the Historic Hotel and met friends for dinner at 1741. The room is beautiful. We were there in December so the Christmas decorations added to the charm - even the whimsical "flying" ones. The food was 5-star. Try the mussels appetizer - the best ever! Our server, Stefani, was a real pleasure. Very professional yet fun.... More

We were staying at The Hotel Bethlehem amidst two weddings that we were unassociated with. On Saturday evening after The Rivalry football game we wanted something nice and expected that the 1741 Terrace would provide that. It exceeded our expectations! We walked to the restaurant through a very boisterous reception taking place in the side lobby (the other was upstairs).... More
