8 of us had a 6:pm reservation. The food was mediocre at best. The waiter put the check on the table at 7:15 and they were practically ushering us out. We said that we would like coffee and dessert but we were told that they were too busy and could take what we wanted to go. We were shocked. As... More

Just finished dinner at Mama Nina's in Bethlehem, PA. Small little Italian restaurant with outdoor seating weather permitting. We had reservations for 6:30 but had to wait 20 minutes for our table to be ready. Nice cool night outside though so we made the most of it while waited for the rest of our party. We were seated downstairs which... More

My husband and I were just wandering the main street in Bethlehem (the same road as the Hotel Bethlehem) and we came across this restaurant. It is small inside but they double their eating space with their outside seating. It was a little too cold on the night we went but it was later so the inside was fine. The... More

Small, very popular restaurant right on Main Street. BYOB,but my cousin thought to bring a bottle of wine. Small menu, but BIG portions and served very quickly and attentively. Cute atmosphere and very delicious food. Parking is a little tight on the street, but there was a parking garage within a quick walk from Mama Ninas. Fun place!

What a wonderful place! Great food, wonderful service, but it was so busy we had to sit in the basement, no windows!! Will go back, hopefully soon!! We were there for a birthday, then a bachelorette party was seated next to us. Not much room when they arrived.

Went for lunch on a Sunday- only a dinner menu available....?? One person in our party ordered an entree to share (large portions) and was told there was a $5.95 "extra plate fee" that would be added to the entree price!?? I have NEVER heard of this before!! I ordered a margherita personal pizza which looked like and tasted like... More

We were looking for a place to take my mother in law who is a picky eater and thought that Italian was a good option, we live a few blocks away and never visited this place as it is always busy. I'm glad that this Tuesday was the exception, outside was full and we were probably the only ones inside.... More

We love coming to celticfest in September and sitting on the curb and eating Mama Nina's Calamari during the parade. Great portions and very well done. This year (2014) we ordered crab cakes. What a treat. 2 Large cakes swimming in a red cream sauce with some shrimp and scallops hidden underneath. Deliciousness! FYI a BYOB restaurant.

The food here is typical Italian, but the portions are very large. The food wasn't the best I have ever had, but it was above average and the portions were huge. I didn't even eat 1/4 of my meal before I had to ask for a box. I really appreciate that they give a complimentary glass of wine with dinner... More

The calamari in balsamic reduction is fantastic. It is an appetizer with a large generous portion. All portion sizes are large. They are BYOB but offer a complementary glass of wine with purchase of entree. Must try this Italian restaurant. Very very good.
