Breakfast buffet good but cold

Very good assortment on Breakfast buffet, 2 kinds of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, french toast, hash browns along with assorted cereal, breads, fruit and yogurt, etc. Food was good, but as others have reported cold. This is evidently an on going problem for them. As soon as we mentioned it to... read more

Since we were staying at Stovepipe Village we eat at the on site restaurant, the Toll Road. The other choice in DVNP was 25 miles away. The facility was clean and our waiter very pleasenat and helpful. There is a full menu with something for everyone including vegeatarian. I had the corn chowder which was mildly spicey with red peppers.... More

The food here is decent compared to Furnace Creek. We were all pretty pleased with our entrees. The hostess was rude, but apologized because she was overworked -- not enough wait staff. We were a pleasant bunch, not at all demanding, so there really was no reason for the nastiness. The waiter was a nice guy. The ambience is interesting... More

We had tortilla soup and black bean quesadillas that made a very good and ample dinner. Two excellent jalapena corn muffins were served. If you want more, it's an additional $4. Dinner came to $34 for two. Breakfast had two choices: complete buffet and continental breakfast. The latter cost $16 for two and with its fruit, oatmeal, and breads was... More

Obviously due to your location, you have little choice when it comes to food but the Tollroad Restaurant and the Badwater Saloon both offer food (albeit snacky things in the saloon). We were planning to eat casually in the saloon rather than the restaurant this time around, but bar staff seemed a little brusque for my liking and not particularly... More

We were grateful to find a good place to eat in Death Valley (after an expensive and dreadful experience at the Furnace Ranch 49er Cafe). We started with a very good beer at the Saloon (pleasant, but for the chatty drunk at the bar) and then moved down the hall to the Toll Road Restaurant. A busload of exhausted and... More

Good food, good service and price. We are so glad that we picked this place. Love their corn bread and corn soup. Need to get their by or before 5:30pm or after 7:15pm to avoid ling wait.

Located in Stovepipe Wells Village, we ate here several times, for both breakfast and dinner, during our visit to Death Valley and found that the food and service was quite good; however, typical of restaurants in National Parks, there is quite a price premium. Spend the extra money for the full buffet breakfast as the continental breakfast option is too... More

For a place that is at least 1 hour from any town, the food and service is great. My husband and I had Thanksgiving dinner at Toll Road Restaurant. The dinner was a bit salty, but we really enjoyed it

There is not a lot of choice in the middle of Death Valley. As it should be due to the location. This place provides a good meal. And a few beers on tap.
