We were there for a performance at the Opera House. Stepping inside is like taking a step back in time. The staff is friendly and the food is good. Pies there are great and worth saving room for a piece.

Now there's no food in Death Valley Junction. But I hear it was great when they were open for business. I believe the owner had fell ill and he won't be reopening this café. :(

We stopped on way through from Vegas to Death Valley and service was superb. Didn't think food could top it but the brisket sandwich was phenomenal. Would definately recommend

Stopped for lunch. They had a group of bicyclists that must have reserved, as they had a buffet set up. What we ordered was very good, service was good, and they answered all our questions about the area.

We were forced here by hire car problems in Death Valley. We were looked after brilliantly and that included almost 4 hours of the use of their phone trying to get Avis to rescue us. Good food and drink. The owners and staff were patient and gracious even when faced with a constant stream of visitors who only want directions... More

A promising lunch (roasted red pepper soup with gouda and an OK BLT) got us back for dinner (and there's no place else to go unless you make plans to eat in the Park), and it was not good. The kitchen couldn't keep up with the demand (there was show in the Opera House that night) and our dinner, ordered... More

Great portions and nicely prepared food. Arrived quickly, maybe 15 minutes at most. Very delicious and the fries were nice and crispy, just the way I lik them.

We went Amaragosa Opera House restaurant since we were lodging at the Longstreet Hotel down the road. They serve and honest meal far away from every thing and the prices are fair. Service was friendly. We were there at Christmas time and they had free pies for that occasion. The hotel however looks run down. We went to the hotel... More

Our server was nice but not efficient. I did not like my hamburger steak. It was a thin square piece of hamburger. I was hungry so I ate it, but it was not very good. Did not eat much of my soggy veggies. However, the jalapeno poppers was okay and the coconut cream pie.

Stopped here for a drink and a snack. Fantastic homemade Gouda and pepper soup, lovely pie and fabulous service. The two members of staff were exceptionally pleasant and made us very welcome.
