A promising lunch (roasted red pepper soup with gouda and an OK BLT) got us back for dinner (and there's no place else to go unless you make plans to eat in the Park), and it was not good. The kitchen couldn't keep up with the demand (there was show in the Opera House that night) and our dinner, ordered... More

Great portions and nicely prepared food. Arrived quickly, maybe 15 minutes at most. Very delicious and the fries were nice and crispy, just the way I lik them.

We went Amaragosa Opera House restaurant since we were lodging at the Longstreet Hotel down the road. They serve and honest meal far away from every thing and the prices are fair. Service was friendly. We were there at Christmas time and they had free pies for that occasion. The hotel however looks run down. We went to the hotel... More

Our server was nice but not efficient. I did not like my hamburger steak. It was a thin square piece of hamburger. I was hungry so I ate it, but it was not very good. Did not eat much of my soggy veggies. However, the jalapeno poppers was okay and the coconut cream pie.

Stopped here for a drink and a snack. Fantastic homemade Gouda and pepper soup, lovely pie and fabulous service. The two members of staff were exceptionally pleasant and made us very welcome.

We happened into the cafe on a lark and found that it was well worth the time we spent to eat there. I had the DVJ burger and it was very tasty - my son had the biggest flapjack he'd ever seen in his life - all for a reasonable price. I would give this place a rating of 5... More

We took a guided tour of the opera house which has absolutely stunning murals on the walls all done by one amazingly talented artist/dancer. Beautiful and unexpected.

The opera house itself was ok, interesting and all, but what I liked best was just the idea of it...the lady wanted to dance and made that happen. Simple. Inspiring in an offbeat way.

This is a small and quaint restaurant, with pretty decent food and very good and friendly service. They didn't have my first two choices on the menu; but it's understandable considering its remote location in the desert. I would certainly return here for a meal if I come back to the area.

We were staying at Amargosa hotel and ventured over to there cafe. We were greeted by a very friendly hello from both the employees and were served promptly. The cafe is quaint and inviting and the breakfast we all had was perfectly cooked. It was the best cooked breakfast I have had in years. We will eat here every time... More
