We were told to sit anywhere upon entering at 11:30 on an Art Walk Saturday. We would have expected them to be busy but only one other table was eating. After 10 minutes of being ignored and seeing other guests that came in after us being waited on we left.

We went for lunch with a Groupon discount. The place aims at a "folksy" atmosphere but there is a difference between folksy and shabby. It could be cute but needs a major do-over. The food was OK in my case--a smallish chicken salad sandwich on good bread and with fine roasted potatoes on the side. My wife's turkey club was... More

Six of us ate here with reservations at 12:30. Place was not crowded. Menu diverse and simple.I had caprese sandwich served on wonderful roll, very fresh tasting, with sauteed green beans as my side. Delish. For dessert, lemon chiffon cupcake. Yum. Quiche and soup also looked good. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

My friend and I went to Sweets for lunch and what a mistake that was. We walked in and the place was empty. We were greeted as if we were an inconvenience. The lady was clearly not happy she had to wait on us. We looked the other way thinking well maybe she was having a bad day. Things did... More

Used a groupon coupon for four people arrived for lunch and they could not seat us until we suggested the outside table and then they said if you want to sit there it is ok. We had to get 2 more chairs for our table and put up the umbrella ourselves. Service was slow, they could not fill our drink... More

We went here and used a groupon for brunch. The best way to describe this place is... nice, understated decor, with few tables and a home-like atmosphere. Food is similar: the sandwiches and other items tasted very much like what you would have made at home, which for me is a plus. Don't expect to be blown away, but its... More

I do not know who is writing the previous reviews but here is real review! This place is typical of a wanna be foo foo place that overcharges!! SMALL portions and substandard ingredients! For example I viewed their kitchen and they were using "maple syrup" from a plastic bottle that was probably bought at ALDI's! The fruit cup was mostly... More

Sweet's is a cute little house with brightly painted walls located in the Art Village of Bradenton. We went for the Sunday brunch and had the baked eggs in the ham cups served with rosemary flavored fried potatoes and the french toast casserole with maple syrup and bacon, both served with fresh fruit. The portions were large enough for us... More

We had a most delicious brunch at Sweet's! My husband had the scrambled eggs with biscuits and sausage gravy. He had 2 biscuits with a sausage gravy filled with crumbled sausage. I had the ham cups with egg and fried potatoes with rosemary. Both dishes came with fresh fruit cup and 2 mimosas each! Everything was delicious....so good we plan... More

We arrived for a late lunch. The shop is small, but don't let that stop you from giving it a try. The food is fresh and tasty and unique. The owner is friendly and takes pride in her food. We didn't try any of the baked foods, but what was left looked good.
