Amazing!

Once again...a classic TripleD establishment...you pull up thinking "This is it? Are we gonna go in?" And once you do you are amazed...the food and staff were just plain fantastic! Jose was there himself and we mentioned we'd seen him on DDD, he was very appreciative and said that Guy was... read more

My Wife and I unfortunately just ate there.I decided to stop to try the food ,I tried to convince my Wife that the place looks run down and smells like overcooked food ,she did not listen and we sat down ,We were given roasted pork to try and had no flavor but still we decided to give it a try... My husband was determined to try this place after watching it on television in England. On our recent trip he was let down as it has been closed by the health inspectors. My husband remains disappointed, I on the other hand am not as I had read some mighty bad reviews before we came! Saved from tummy bugs, which ruin... More

We had been going to this restaurant before it made it to Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. Sometimes those shows can kill a place. Not this one. The wait staff and owner Jose are as friendly and efficient as ever. The food is outstanding, plentiful and reasonably priced. It's far from fancy but the quality of the food preparation and... While the outside of Jose's might be non descript...the authentic Cuban specialties inside are memorable. I had the Taste Of Cuba $13.95 with pork, piccadillo, ropa vieja, rice, black beans, yucca and plantains....and could not finish it. Great Cuban dishes...at reasonable prices

We stopped by here after we saw it on the Food Network app (on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives). Jose greeted us and the waitstaff treated us very well. The food was incredible - we have Cuban sandwiches, fried plantains and yucca fries. Not the healthiest meal we ever ate but one of the tastiest!

You know how you find a restaurant whose kitchen cooks 'just my style'? Well, Jose's is it for me. After a couple days of eating either expensive-menu food served on shiny plates, or else fries, fries and more fries, we went to Jose's for a change of pace and place. Now, I like my food pretty simple: quickly cooked, well... More

Our family of four (including a 9 and a 10 year old) visited Jose's about 6:30pm on Friday night. We were warmly greeted at the door and were lucky enough to be seated immediately. The restaurant is quite small, about five tables and luckily someone had just finished. The waitstaff was extremely helpful in explaining the menu and we chose... More

Jose's food is all good, especially the Cuban sandwich and black bean soup at lunch! I wish the location and facility were different with a better atmosphere and I would eat there more often!

At home or on the road, one is always looking for that hole-in-the-wall restaurant that has the best "cheesecake/crabcakes/burger/sushi/(put-your-favorite-food-here)". Jose's is the one for Cuban - in Bradenton! The decor is well-populated linoleum, with a superb staff who are always helpful and attentive, and the best roasted pork, steaks, and pulled pork that I have had anywhere (including some white-table...
