Max & Erma's is a go-to restaurant for a good burger and fries! Cookies are the BEST! Service is usually excellent, with an occasional dip to very good.

Transferred back to Dayton area after 7 yrs hiatus and looked forward to taking family to Max & Erma's like the old days. Was not the same place. Bar area was active and loud when we arrived w/ our 3 kids. Seating seemed to take awhile (I didn't time). My wife was ready to leave after hostess seated couple who... More

Max and Erma's is my favorite restaurant - unfortunately there are no longer any of its restaurants in our area. So we were excited when we found one was going to be near the hotel we were stating at during vacation! We went there both nights we were at our hotel. This specific Max and Erma's had very good service.... More

Nice little place, easy to get to. Its above average food, service, and prices. Nothing will blow you away but its good enough to go back to when youre in the mood for it.

I do not usually comment on a chain restaurant but this one deserves it. The tortilla soup is good enough to have three times in one week. The chocolate cake is outstanding. I like cake and am fussy and this one was unbelievable.

Service was superior. Witness never wrote one of our orders down and everything came out as ordered. Try the fish tacos...you will not be disappointed!!! Fried pickles were yummy also!! Everyone seemed pleased with their burgers. Thanks for good service and food. 2:30....good time for early dinner and avoid crowds.

Sad to see these restaurants closing. The one at the Dayton Mall moved to Springboro, and then that one was closed as well this past sprint. Great burgers and fries. Always good to support local establishments!

Stopped by here for lunch based on the recommendation from a colleague and was thoroughly pleased. Great choices on a pretty extensive menu. Lots of great options for burgers and really liked the build your own burger; especially since they offer a pretzel roll. Their seasoned fries are excellent and my colleague said the chicken sandwich was awesome. They're really... More

Nice atmosphere. Food was just okay. Had buffalo chicken entrees. Not my favorite. The next day I went back because it was close to my hotel. The 3rd street salad was great and the tortilla soup was good. The service was pretty good. For a group of 6 or more the tables with chandeliers are fun.
