Sad to see these restaurants closing. The one at the Dayton Mall moved to Springboro, and then that one was closed as well this past sprint. Great burgers and fries. Always good to support local establishments!

Stopped by here for lunch based on the recommendation from a colleague and was thoroughly pleased. Great choices on a pretty extensive menu. Lots of great options for burgers and really liked the build your own burger; especially since they offer a pretzel roll. Their seasoned fries are excellent and my colleague said the chicken sandwich was awesome. They're really... More

Nice atmosphere. Food was just okay. Had buffalo chicken entrees. Not my favorite. The next day I went back because it was close to my hotel. The 3rd street salad was great and the tortilla soup was good. The service was pretty good. For a group of 6 or more the tables with chandeliers are fun.

This review is for the location at Dayton International Airport. I had lunch on a layover, thankfully I had a long time. I waited over 15 min for someone to take my drink order. Food (a bowl of soup) took 25 minutes to come out. I was never checked on, my drink was never refilled until I finally got the... More

My wife and I go to Max & Erma's when we want a good burger and it cooked the way we order it. At most restaurants you roll the dice on if your medium rare hamburger will be the way you ordered it. More than half the time it is actually well done. We go to Max & Ermas because... More

Nothing to write home about. Food just okay, Bacon not cooked enough, Breakfast Sausage had no taste, not worth the calories. The eggs were okay. Mimosa seemed to use Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice, which was nice. However, The Bloody Mary was not good at all. Seemed also to be a Measured Pour on the Vodka. Clean enough. Service Friendly!

Have tried Max and Ermma's several times. Never have liked the food or service. One of he worst chains around. They must train the staff in the same school. Everyone of them are just not good servers and the food is awful.

Max and Erma's is a bit of a dwindling chain, and that's too bad because we have never really had bad food or poor service here. Over the years, the decor and menu have re-vamped several times, but the bottom line is that it's a burger & beer type place. On our last visit, the service was fine, and the... More

We first discovered Max and Erma's in Columbus 40 years ago. Nice burger and beer place. We like that airport location can move a dinner fast.

We walked from our hotel to have dinner, our first experience at Max and Emma's. We were impressed that the hostess, Katelyn, knew who was waiting in line and managed the staff to ensure people were seated on time. Our waitress, India, was excellent. Knowing it was our first time, she gave us a sample of tortilla soup, which we... More
