It had been a while since I'd enjoyed Meadowlark--and I had not visited in the few years since they moved to this location. So on an evening when I was too weary to cook, my wife and I renewed our acquaintance. The new location is in the backmost part of a little strip mall, and whoever designed that strip mall... More

You can never go wrong here for a quick lunch. Everything on the menu is fresh and tastes that way. Go for the grilled turkey sandwich!

If you're looking for wonderful, innovative cuisine (for Dayton) look no further. The pâté appetizer is a must!

Not your standard menu which we liked. The sandwiches all had unusual and tasty items. Service was excellent. Everyone went home happy. Even the ketchup was a one-off recipe which was nice. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the experience.

As usual, a great stop in a strip mall. Visiting Dayton, we searched and found Meadowlark. Despite the Sunday Noon crowd, the pleasant staff found a table and we viewed the creative menu. Rosti potatoes, veggie specials, Lewes bacon, something for the four of us. Our charming server told us both the catchup and siracha are made on premise. Vibrant... More

Shrimp and grits? I'm not an adventuresome eater. I prefer safe sandwiches and egg dishes when I order weekend brunch. But I took a flyer Sunday at the Meadowlark, and I was delighted with the result! The shrimp, cheese grits and slightly spicy sauce blended beautifully, and the crispy toast on the side was a brilliant change of texture and... More

I've been to Meadowlark 3 times, and each time was wonderful. I mostly go Sunday for breakfast, and the bar is open! Let me qualify that :) They offer specialty drinks that are appropriate for a brunch (I'm sure they offer other things too, but I don't usually have a beer with my eggs) The menu is special and they... We have long been regulars at Meadowlark. The food is simple in presentation and not pretentious but the flavors are complex and well balanced. The chef/owner really has good ideas and there are always seasonal specials made from as many local vendors and farmers as possible.

Meadowlark has many healthy options and seasonal specials. But if you are feeling like you want a burger & fries they have that too. And what a burger & fries it is! Delicious! Food is fresh, locally grown when possible, and cooked to perfection. On this trip I had the grilled smoked turkey sandwich with spicy peach jam. It is... More

Had the best egg salad sandwich! Also love the special grilled cheeses and the juicy burgers. I love love love the homemade ketchup! The fresh non-alcoholic drinks are wonderful additions to the meal.
