A quick lunch

I have been here only once hit the visit was very good. The food was excellent along with the service. My only complaint would be the limited hours. I figured they would be open a lot later into the night on the weekends. However, people probably don't see it as a late establishment so they may not... read more

This venerable grill and tavern is a magnet for those desiring good food in a comfortable environment. Server, Brittney, was remarkable in her care and attention to our table of four. Three of us yielded to the

Doubleday's is a local establishment that very visit every so often. They have some good sandwiches and quesedillas along with their Monster Pizza. Besides that it is typical pub food that is good, not great, but good. It can be crowded and expect a wait on the weekends. Service can be slow. All in all it is a "good" place... More

Whatever I get at Doubledays is good with one exception. Their Rueben is very good! My husband likes their soups. We have had their salads and those are also good.

My Sunday Brunch group convened at Doubleday's on a snowy Sunday--our original group of 19 got whittled down to 9 by the weather, still a pretty big table for a waiter. Not my first time at Doubleday's, I've always found the atmosphere more pleasant than typical sports bars, and the food has always been tasty. On this occasion I got... More

My husband and I visit Doubleday's fairly frequently. They have an extensive menu, efficient servers that are very friendly, and they are always willing to work with you to customize to your needs. They are always packed, but are usually able to accommodate you in about 10-15 min. This is my go to place for girlfriend lunches and family dinners .... More

Doubleday's is always packed, and for a good reason. We arrived at 6pm on a Thursday and there was already a wait. Good thing we had a friend get there early for a table. Don't leave, though - it's worth the wait. Very clean, modern, somewhat upscale sports bar. Unique in that the food is the star here, but the... More

I went here with a few of my friends for lunch. I thought that the food was pretty good, we had a nacho supreme and a pizza. The pizza was interesting - it was a BLT pizza and so it's not something you get everywhere but it was quite tasty and pretty generous portions for the price. The service was... More

I have been to this restaurant several times and have not had one bad thing. It has been delicious every time. I had their fish and macaroni and cheese, their soups and their pizza is very good. We do not live close, but we make the drive to come there to eat. Everything is made from scratch and you can... More

Tis a wintry December day, and I call Monster Pizza for takeout. Monster Pizza is located in Cross Point, and fronts on SR 725. Monster Pizza has been in business in Centerville for 10+ years, and this is our first visit. We have made countless trips in front of the Monster Eye that sits atop the small carryout site of...
