For the second year in a row when visiting our friends in Dayton we have eaten here. Both times on a Monday night. Which is a good thing because the special on Mondays is broasted chicken which both of the guys love. The decor is right out of the sixties which is cool and the service is good. Looking forward... This place doesn’t do reservations or call ahead seating. Saturday evening, 7pm two out of our party of three arrive and are told they won’t be seated until the whole part is there. I think this is unacceptable. They could have ordered drinks or appetizers during the wait. The place wasn’t busy and there was no wait, so once the... More

This was my first time here, even though I have lived in Dayton for many years. It will not be my last time. While the decor probably has not changed since the 70s, the food is great quality. I had a 12oz Strip and it was excellent, especially since the price was must less the high end steak chains. The... More

This is the second time for me and the first time for the birthday person. We all really liked our courses and I even took some home which I enjoyed a second time.

I recently came home from vacation and was in a major mood for a steak. I went to a Lonestar Steak house and there was about a 1 1/2 hour wait just to be seated. I went down to Treasure Island and I walked right in. Was seated right away and the service was great. They have daily specials and... More

so glad we found the treasure island, after our favorite place for steak closed, we tried numerous steak places and nothing could compare. we tried treasure island and it is by far the best new york strip in dayton, oh. thick tender and juicy melts in your mouth. I would recommend this place hand down. they also have numerous other menu... More

Been here many times. Food is excellent & prices are more than reasonable. Serving sizes are large. Service is always good. Most attentive busboys ever. Not intrusive but always there to meet your needs. Hard to find but worth the search. A five star eating place if there ever was one. Do not miss this one if you are in... More

I had lunch today at this long-standing landmark of a restaurant. One thing you should know, it's dark as a cave inside! I have dined at Treasure Island many times over the years, and the place has never changed. In fact, I'm pretty sure I saw some of the same Old timer faces around the bar when I first arrived!... this is a Dayton staple. We went two weeks ago and asked some customers what was good on the menu. we had several tables tell us to try either the salad or that clam chowder or anything on the menu would be great. We we fell in love with the clam chowder it was fantastic. I enjoyed a tuna melt... More

I had written a previously positive review, but this time I’m very unhappy with the experience my family and I just had at the restaurant for my mom’s birthday dinner. We had six people in our party and two of them sent food back. The waitress argued with me when I returned a steak that was clearly burnt and black... More
