Chop House a Good Choice After Church

We have enjoyed this restaurant for dinner on several occasions. We did not realize it was open for lunch on Sunday until a group of 8 of us decided to dine there after church. The limited menu was diversified and well priced, focusing on soups, salads, and entree dishes. I chose a salmon Caesar... read more

On a road trip with my Mom, we arrived on Dayton for our last night on the road. Having been to The Chop House in Kodak and Pigeon Forge TN, I knew this would be reliably good, menu, wine and service. It was near our hotel and didn't disappoint. Rocky, our server, was excellent. My mom had the crab cake,... More

You would think a place which called itself a "chop" house would know how to cook them! Huusband ordered his steak Medium and it was absolutely raw in the middle and was sent back. When it returned, it was still not even close. Waitress didn't stick around to check, so had to wait until she returned for other reasons to... More

The lunch had a huge selection and the food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. The prime rib sandwich was huge!

My husband and I enjoyed a Valentine's Day dinner here. He had steak, salad and creamed spinach and I had the salmon, sweet potato and sugar snap peas. We both enjoyed our main dish and loved all the options for sides! The bread and butter they bring out is yummy too! We also enjoyed the chocolate cake and ice cream... More

We notice by 5:00PM that the Chop House parking lot is nearly full, and nearly all tables are occupied. There is a growing line of folks waiting for dinner. The clientele is mostly retirees and boomers. Seems like plaid shirts and blue jeans are prominent. As we depart we observe that nearly all “Restaurant Row Restaurants” have full parking lots.... One of their Restaurant Week selections was a 6oz Filet ($25.15) and both were excellent and cooked to order perfectly. One was ordered with baked potato and the other with broccoli. The broccoli was cooked perfectly with just a little tooth. The 9 oz. pour of Red Diamond Merlot ($11) was perfect with the steaks. Valerie took excellent care of... More

In town for business and we decided to head out for some steak. While Cody was very good and attentive, the food was just average for a steak place.

Service was excellent and the creamed spinach is the best I've ever had. We had 16 people and the took care of us in a timely manner.

My 13 year old grandson asked for a steak dinner to celebrate his birthday. Our dinner party was for 12 and we drew Rocky as our server, I have to say that Rocky was very attentive to our whole party including the youngsters. Of all the meals two of the steaks were over cooked and when Rocky was told he... More
