I went here for a friend's birthday celebration. I had high hopes because I had heard good things about the place. Reality was far from what I had heard. Service was average, atmosphere was non-existent, and the food was average and over-priced. I won't be back.

Food is always excellent. Hostess service is usually bad, but table service is good. My favorite is the ginger stir-fry chicken.

Delicious thai food, excellent service, one of s kind experience. Thai 9 is beautiful. Whether you're dining on the patio on a nice day or overlooking the restaurant from the indoor balcony, there's not a bad seat. Thai 9 is tucked in at the end of the Oregon District-downtown Dayton's dining, bar, live music, shopping, and art district. Just writing this... More

A nice centrally located venue close in to downtown in one of the more historical areas of Dayton. Good for groups, or meetings. Sushi is always well made and flavorful and the wasabi is fresh. Nothing like stale wasabi to put you off your sushi! Never fails to bring good food at a good price!

I have gone 3 times and each time I vow to never return. Each time renews my dissatisfaction. Too busy, staff running, throwing plate down in front of you rush tush GET OUT attitude. Servers never return to check or to refresh water or even bring something u asked for. Good luck even getting he bill. We had to leave... More

I have been here many times since it opened .. and this is one of my wife's favorite restaurants. Everything I have tried has been good. They also have a very good beer list. Only reason I am not giving 5 starts is that they are usually fairly busy and the service can be "so-so". If you are not in... More

This is one of my husband's favorite restaurants. They have Thai, Japanese, and Chinese entrees. There is a lot to choose from and the food is fresh and delicious every time.

Our favorite restaurant in Dayton. My husband loves their sushi and my favorite cuisine is Thai, so this is the best of both of our worlds! We have dined there several times, and even had our first date there, but normally just get it to-go because of our schedules. The wait can be long, especially during the weekends, but it... More

Best Thai food I have had comes from Thai-9. It can be tricky to find your heat level but once one finds it, the food gets even better. The wait staff can guide you in level choices but fine tuning is up to the customer. I also love their shushi. Lots of offerings.
