We had only been to the Pine Club one other time, and there was a 2 hour wait so we left. This time we went on a Thursday evening and got there before 7. It was full but not packed. A server took our drink orders and left menus. The menu is mostly steaks, some of them larger than any... More

This restaurant is one of the better places to eat in Dayton. Skip the modern chain restaurants and try something different. It's very dark and dated inside-which adds to the charm, a little pricey and cash only. But always great food.

This restaurant is consistently wonderful. The steaks are fabulous. I don't know how they continue to do a good job on such a consistent basis.

Are stewed tomatoes an Ohio thing? This restaurant was recommended to us. Cash only. The steak was AH-MAY-ZING, but the side offered was either stewed tomatoes or frozen vegetables. The side salad with red-and-blue dressing (french with real blue cheese) was interesting, and very good with walnuts. The bread was delicious, and the "salt sticks" are indeed salty. Later I... More

We went to the Pine Club in Dayton Ohio last Thursday and had another fabulous meal. This may have been my 25th time here and it is always fabulous. The split filet is my favorite (and it is not on the menu) double onion rings and a baked potato. The garlic dressing on the house salad is so great that... More

We had another disappointing evening at the Pine Club last weekend. We had an hour and a half wait for a table, typical for a Saturday night. However, two groups of people that came in after us were seated before us. When my husband questioned the hostess, he was told to "chill out". We should have left right then but... More

Consistency best describes the Pine Club. You will always get good food, great service, and strong drinks. Reservations are required unless you don't mind a long wait as it is usually crowded (see strong drinks at the bar which makes waiting tolerable). The only downside is the atmosphere which is dark and generally on the noisy side. The interior has... More

By far the best steak house in town. The only negative I can post is the wait time for a table. They do not take reservations so the wait can be substantial. However, that being said, it is mostly worth the wait.

Not having been to the Pine Club is several years I was wondering how much they had changed. I had rembembered it would be crowded so was not surprised when we arrived a little after 6PM that there would be an hour wait. Luckily we found the last two seats at the bar and were resigned to the hour wait.... More

I was excited to eat at The Pine Club as I had heard many things. Unfortunately my experience did not replicate those sentiments. The three of us were crammed into a small "booth" next a really loud and obnoxious group. The small drinks were overpriced ($7.50 for a gin and tonic). The food came out way too fast as well... More
