I've gone to CB for years, and used to love their food. Over the past year though, things there have deteriorated. So THIS REVIEW DESCRIBES THE FREQUENT, RECURRING ISSUES at CB. SERVICE is awful. I don't know if it's the lack of training or poor hiring. Some servers are friendly but incompetent. Other workers are simply unaware that they are... More

It's a Cracker Barrel. The food was passable but cheap, filling but in no way interesting. Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was, well, Cracker Barrel. A step above fast food, a step below just about any decent restaurant.

On our recent trip to the Great Smokey Mountains in Sevier County, we must have passed 30+ Cracker Barrels. Seems safe to refer to Cracker Barrel as an "Iconic American Institution." At any rate, we are glad to be home. We know to avoid the breakfast, lunch, and dinner masses! Taking a PM early dinner at 3:00 - 3:30 ensures... More

Arrived around 4:30-5 pm on Wed March 19. Was seated and a male waiter served us water. We asked if we could look over the menu for a minute. He left. After a few minutes we put our menus down. 20-25 min passed and we finally caught a waitress. She said the only male waiter they had went home. ?????... More

We had lunch at this facility. It seems they were training someone new on the grill, the food was slow, the service was slow, it took a long time to get to our table when we arrived. I am sure it is tough with the racetrack and bike week events. The staff looked exhausted. My husband commented that the men's... More

My family loves Cracker Barrel. Everyone always finds something they like. And the fact you can always get breakfast makes the kids happy. The daily specials are great, too. A couple favorites are chicken and dumplings, catfish, Sunday fried chicken and the pot roast dinner. They also have a large selection of delicious sides. And to finish our meal, the... More

Food was delicious! The service from our waitress was excellent, however after our waitress walked away I dropped my silverware. I asked another waitress to bring me more silverware. She never came back.

No place is always perfect, and that's true of this store. We stopped by for "brunch" going through Dayton. The food was average, and there seemed to be alot of plate showing between the entrees. (Smallish portions) I had to ask for a second serving of sawmill gravy, as one serving was not enough for both biscuits, and there were... More

What I like is that no matter which one you walk into, the one down the block or across the country, the menu is always the same. I know the service will be great and friendly and the food will be just like MY Mom made it this morning.Sometimes I am in one and forget that I am not at... More

The food was ok - didn't feel it met most of the standards of most Cracker Barrell's. Two people at our table ordered the same meal - the amount of food on each plate was visably different. One had very small portions - while the other was much larger. Service seemed slow for the place not to be very crowded.... More
