Very good sevice

I enjoyed the steak, but the bread and vegetables had a chemical taste, I did not eat them. The steak compared to others I had Outback and Long Horn, but cost more.

Service was very good. They serve a weak cocktail. Shrimp cocktail consisted of 5 little shrimp laying on a plate. Filet was fatty and chewy. Ribs were good. Prime Rib not so much... Will be looking for another place to celebrate family gathering... Major disappointment.

This is a fun, popular, homey, old wooden tavern with low ceilings and great beer!!!!! the burgers are delicious, fried onion rings to die for, and atmosphere fun and lively! Crowded, so expect a wait on the weekend nights unless you arrive early.

We went with a party of 7 and they were very accommodating to our large group! My recommendation is to sit on the bar side. The atmosphere on the bar side is more of a hometown tavern versus the dining room side which has more of a mom and pop restaurant feel. I also suggest checking out the craft beer... More

I was part of a party of four. We went on a Friday evening, but had no trouble being seated because we had called ahead for reservations a day or so ahead of time. Our server was courteous and for the most part attentive. It did take a while for our meals to come out (well over 30 minutes), but... More

Had a family function here, so tagged along. 3 out of 6 steaks had to be sent back for proper temperature. That's a 50% failure rate. Steaks are very expensive here for the retirement home type environment, and the MCL cafeteria type sides. Place isn't clean, and VERY dark, perhaps, so you can't see what you are eating... I'll make... More

We come here for a few years..and it's really slipping in quality. Staff is always very friendly and location is special...however, the food really is becoming a hit or miss and if it's a miss, it's really bad. Audience is super old and atmosphere is like a retirement home dining area...hope they catch it before they go down..

Buckhorn is a neighborhood best kept secret! Great food and daily specials with prices reasonable! Also, have great wine tastings monthly. Has been around for years. Even during the ups and downs in the economy this locally owned restaurant has survived! I try to support locally owned businesses as much as possible.

We (3) decided to go out to the Buckhorn, since they are a great nearby place, and it was Small Business Saturday, and they are local. When we arrived, the parking in front was full, the lot across the street was full, and it was after 6 on Saturday. We almost went on by! But one of our party inquired... More

We had very good service for a party of 11. 9 out of the 11 ordered the ribs and were very happy. Hubby and I ordered liver and onions with bacon, and cabbage rolls. Both were just ok. BUT THE PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE PIE was FABULOUS!
