Delicious Indian food with very attentive service, you can't go wrong with Amar. I've eaten here many times over the years and have never had a bad meal. Curteous staff, friendly. Food arrived in next to no time. Both the mushroom matar and chicken makhani that I'd ordered were excellent. The Tandoori was as expected, soft tender pieces but WAY too mild (to suit the American palate in short). But at least the pieces were well cooked more

I was in Dayton last week for a wedding and went to Amar India. Being from the London where there are Indian restaurants everywhere (and which most of are nasty) i was not expecting much from a US one. How wrong was i?? You can not find better Indian food that I know of, unless it is at another restaurant owned by the same people as Amar India. Located right across from the Dayton Mall off of Rt. 725 near Pier One Imports and Barnes and Noble, this is a guaranteed, wonderful dining experience!! I eat there at least three times a week... more
