Beer selection is OK but the Guinness is excellent. Food is very good and the service is always excellent. A must go to if you are in Dayton.

Pub atmosphere with great patio dining. Food portions large. Quality very good. Had Celtic band on stage when we visited. Unfortunately stage is small as is pub thus sound was loud making it hard to converse. Area dimly lit which made seeing menu a challenge for us older folks. Booths and chairs wooden. Little maneuver room between diners. Very limited... More

Well, we just left DP after waiting an HOUR and food still never showed up, had to leave as already way past my lunch hour. After 3 other couples were seated after us and got service, we literally had to go find someone just to get menus. 3 more couples arrived thereafter, and although the waitress was apologetic on the... Stopped in after stumbling upon this place by accident, the atmosphere was great, a young vibe with friendly staff, we were served promptly, we did not eat but had a pint, the Guinness was good, you can only get great Guinness in Ireland so for me to give it a good rating is high praise indeed, this place has character... This was my second trip to the Dublin pub and I'm not sure I want to return. The beer was warm and the chicken tenders were over cooked to the point of being dry and chewy. The service was outstanding.

Four of us family members ate dinner at this Pub on June 10, 2014. My husband ordered the Shepherd's Pie which was delicious. I ordered the classic boxty (chicken) which was very good - I would have liked a little less cheese on it - that is just my personal preference. My brother ordered the boxy with beef which he... I've visited the Dub Pub on every visit to Dayton over the past year and have yet to be disappointed. The Fish n' Chips with a pint of Guinness makes feel like I'm almost back in Dublin, Ireland. The Ruck sandwich with Guinness BBQ sauce is one of best beef brisket sandwiches I've eaten. Be sure and get the onion... More

we save this restaurant for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and taking guests to a truly yummy Irish place to eat. All the food is excellent (I haven't had one bad meal)! Although some of the meals are somewhat pricey you do get good food for the value. They have awesome beer my daughter loves to get the draft Guinness... More

First visit to this establishment, we had a larger group and called well ahead for seating. Unfortunately when we arrived someone had claimed to be our group and took over our table. We were squeezed around a smaller table as there was not a lot of room left for us. They appear to be adding on or remodeling so hopefully... More
