Nice lunch stop

Excellent food. Intimate setting. I was surprised at the upscale dinning experience and was pleased at the service and quality of food. I am a vegetarian and found the choices to be delicious.

I was so disappointed in this restaurant. I wanted to love it, but had 2 bad experiences here, both with food and service and the management didn't seem to care. I hope the chef does well in the future at somewhere else. I just don't think this was the place or format for her vision, unfortunately.

Kindness in correction is such a lovely thing, and so very longed for. We wish all reviewers would consider using their voice and sharp eye to help independents improve, a great many of ours did, and we so appreciated them for it. We apologize -again- that you're visit wasn't all we hoped it would be and wish you great dining... More

Ate here once and it was fabulous. Had some kind of pork dish. Suggest buying a bottle of wine across the street, have a sip, then bring the rest to dinner at Olive. Hoping the owners open a new place.

Olive was an experiment that worked really well. The owner took was as Wympee Fast Food joint and converted it into a fine fining but very casual experience. As you can imagine, seating was limited and the kitchen space constrained but they would create a fabulous menu using local grown or raised fresh produce and the place was packed every... More

Unfortunately, this little Dayton, indie restaurant has closed. Olive will be missed. Hopefully, more indie's will open as Dayton is overrun with chains with more opening daily.

This is a little gem and I mean little. The seating is limited but worth the wait. If you like Vegan food you will find good fresh options here. If you don't see an option just ask. I love this place!!

This restaurant closed on Oct. 10,2015. There is no point in reviewing what was. The owner could not make a deal with the landlord! There is no Olive!!

As a newbie to the Dayton area I was told about a small farm-to-table restaurant where the food was amazing. Little did I know that Olive would in what looked like an abandoned dinner in the middle of the city. Go through its doors and be prepared to experience amazing, fresh food at its best. The menu is inventive. The... More

Unfortunately, this great little Bistro closed and is not scheduled to reopen in the Dayton area. There are other restaurants near by. Thai 9 is very good.

The food was so very good! They let you bring your own beer and wine because they did not have a liquor license .
