Best local and organic food you can have in the Dayton area.

Service was great, very knowledgeable and right on the spot. Basically you can order anything on the menu because all is good. Will return soon.

So, people have been talking about Olive for a long time now. We used to live next door and moved and just hadn't made it to the restaurant yet. We recently went for a friend's birthday. I was shocking surprised at the process and the pretentiousness...even the menu was slightly degrading. I ordered the appetizer special: received 4 small crustinis,... More

This is a nice cozy little spot to grab breakfast or dinner. The food choices are a little different but a nice change of pace.

Want a hamburger that tastes like the good ole days? This place has not changed since the 1950's when my Dad used to stop by on his way home from work and buy a bag of hamburgers for the family. I still drop by and get one just to relive the past. The burgers still taste the same. Nothing fancy... More

Olive's is one of my favorite restaurants in the Dayton area. It is cozy and cute inside and the food everything I have tried in this place is always good. They serve fresh, local produce and have very clever menu options. If you get a chance, you must try the Wedding Cake for dessert! This cake is out of this... More

One of our local favs! It's popular and busy, but it's not hard to see why!! Add in the historical Wympee building and this place oozes charm. The menu is innovative and delicious!!

Maybe the best kept culinary secret in Dayton. Since they've not changed the exterior, or put up any legible sign, most people assume this is still a hamburger dive leftover from the Depression. Not so! Extraordinary soups (try the spicy pumpkin), imaginative sandwiches, locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Get yourself a seat here soon.

Some friends and I went for lunch at the Olive and we were all glad that we did! The atmosphere of the Olive is very cozy. The exterior has been left alone, which I love since I grew up driving past the Wympee on the way to my grandmother's house. Inside is close quarters, but we had a nice seat... More

My husband and I dined at Olive for the first time last weekend. Wow, what a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. The exterior is a little run down, but the interior, although small, is very upscale and tasteful. The menu was very different from the usual fare. We're vegetarians and there were many options for... More
