Nice Surprise

A friend and I meet there two or three times a month for lunch. There are other good restaurants nearby, but we like the mix of the ambience, good service and good food. Another plus is that Phil, the general manager, is often there and willing to accommodate one's requests. Their hamburgers are large and tasty, as are the club... More

Love the food here! Steak is always cooked to perfection. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. Nice selection of wine to compliment the meal. We enjoyed a very comfortable and relaxed dinner.

I met a friend for and early Saturday night dinner. The atmosphere and food were excellent and reasonably priced. My friend had the swordfish and I had the parmesan crusted chicken. I saw friends, families and couples dining. Our waitress was attentive, but not overbearing. Great experience.

The service, atmosphere, cleanliness and food is consistently good. The smokey smell is incredible when you walk in the door. We need to try this for dinner as they knock it out of the part for lunch. Burgers, salads and the chicken are solid.

Great food. Cooked well, great flavor, fun atmosphere, fair prices. Others in my party had steaks that were cooked to perfection. I will certainly come back next time I'm in the area

Four of us from out-of-state had dinner here at the recommendation of our hotel. It was just right for us. Not too casual, not too fancy. Not inexpensive, but priced appropriately. Broad menu though both men ordered ribs (a speciality) and really enjoyed them. Women ordered a bowl of french onion soup (very good) and an appetizer each. My three... More

I've been to Austin's three times this summer, and each time, the food and the service was consistently impressive. The NY Strip is fantastic and cooked to a perfect medium rare every time. The atmosphere is casual, but more upscale than the chain steakhouses. The small touches really add up: corn bread muffins, interesting salad dressings, large drink menu. I... More

I've heard my friends rave about Austin's because of their brunch. Well, I still haven't tried their brunch because the steak spinach salad caught my attention and ever since I ordered it the first time, I've gotten the same dish since (aprox 4 times now). It is such a unique dish-- the combination of steak, spinach, egg, slightly sweet dressing,... More

Went to AAA listed Austin's Wood Fire Grille -- listed as casual but it is nicer than your typical casual venue. wonderfully prepared food in a very pleasant atmosphere. Serving sizes are plentiful but not overboard. Wish they served local wines.
