Love the batter they use for the fried shrimp. But based on side dish alternatives and portion size I feel the prices are high. They are also quite picky about using restaraunt.com vouchers. It's about the only restaurant in downtown st. Mary's so I think they capitalize on the tourists.

I had grilled shrimp, French fries, coleslaw and clam chowder as an appetizer. I have had no better food anywhere. The clam chowder was unique, but unbeatable. The grilled shrimp was all I expected, and the French fries were still very hot. Everything was delivered very quickly, and beverage refills were there before they were needed. The service was friendly,... More

My husband and I drove from Amelia over to St. Mary's to eat at Lang's upon the recommendation of a long-time islander. Either his standards are significantly lower than ours, or Lang's has changed since he last visited. The service we received was very poor. Our waitress took our drink and entree orders, brought both and, until we were basically... More

We have been to St Mary's before, but did not get to eat at Lang's. It is well know in the area and has a good reputation so we wanted to try it. The service was good, but the food was very average. Since they are on the coast and have their own boats,We expected better. The portions were small,... More

Nice service. Went there after Cumberland Island all day so we were hungry. They had good food and it came out quickly. No complaints

Lovely spot if the weather is nice. And of course, one eats seafood by the sea, or at least a tidal river. The food is fine.

We had lunch at this restaurant and it was OK. The fried seafood was what one would expect at this type of restaurant and nothing really special. We ate lunch here and therefore had lunch sized potions which were sufficient to fill us up and were reasonably priced. Our server was not real energetic and did not seem to go out... More

Very cute restaurant on the water. Waiting time for a Sat. was 10-15mins. Orders all you can eat "peel and eat" shrimp and chicken tenders. The chicken was OK at best but the shrimp was fantastic with great flavor. The ice tea was the best we've had in a while. Service and atmosphere was great. This would be a great... More

Great seafood restaurant geared for family dining. The food was excellent and well prepared. This is one I would highly recommend for family outings. Portions were good and quality was excellent.

You have to go there for the food. The food is beyond good. Its the best seafood I've ever experience. However, the ambiance is not so great but that's okay for the locals we go there for the food.
