Ok food

Only steakhouse in Fruita. Food is OK but pricey. Atmosphere is nice. The service is hit and miss. I ate breakfast there once and it was pretty good

The Feedlot is a locally owned restaurant located on the South side of Fruita. The Feedlot has great Prime Rib on the weekends, but my favorite is the Chicken Fried Steak from their lunch menu (served anytime, bu the way). I believe this is the "best" Chicken Fried Steak I have ever had. Make sure to have the homemade mashed... More

Funny, how a good serving of meatloaf can comfort you when you are on an extended road trip. Coupled with for - real mashed potatoes...well, I was a happy camper. My husband cleaned his plate. The dining room is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The menu is a variety of moderately priced selections. Our server took good care of us. As... More

My husband & I recently ate at the Feedlot Restaurant again. That was the best catfish I've ever had in my life!! My husband had the prime rib, which was awesome too! You have to try their green beans - not like any other green beans you have ever had (unless you ate my mom's!!) Wait staff was wonderful, great... More

Most restaurants don't offer Prime Rib anymore (due to cost, I guess). But the Feedlot Restaurant in Fruita offers it every Friday & Saturday evening. It is tender & very flavorful. We love it! Be sure to get the green beans as a side, because they are the best I have EVER had! Homemade, with ham, just like mom used... More

We read the reviews and took a chance and boy was it great. Service was spot on. We ordered the Prime Rib and was served to our liking. Just right. We would come back again if didn't live so far away.

Found this place close to our golf course and it was a great find. Menu is basic American Diner with burgers, sandwiches, or full meals. My Philly Cheese was loaded with tender, flavorable beef and fresh peppers and onions, all covered with cheese. My husband had chicken fried steak that was also great. Lots of sides to choose from for... More

The beers, brats and green chili cheese fries were pretty good. Plus, they were the only non-chain to be open earlier than 11.

I don t know Russ and Tami Parker but the one time I have had the pleasure it was no pleasure. They are the rudest people I have ever met. Their restaurant is unkempt and filthy. Flies galore greet you at the door and remain your dinner companions throughout. Steaks from the cheapest source (judging by the toughness factor) and... More
