Checked out this local favorite while vacationing with the family. Best clam chowder I've had in a really long time! Overall food prices were definitely set for tourist (a bit high for what you get) but the food itself was well prepared. We were overcharged on our bill. The waitress corrected the charges. Just be sure to check, especially since... More

We always go and eat at the Yorktown Pub when we go home for a visit, as that is where we got engaged back in 1995. I always order the chicken sandwich and on July 10th, it was just as good as the day we ate there back all those years ago! I really LOVE THE PUB and would recommend... More

A group of us recently ate here and all had did different foods. All were good, from lobster rolls to grilled cheese. Food came quickly. When you go, try the bikini fries. They are slices of squash deep fried and served with a spicy sauce. Also in a good location, across the street from Yorktown beach.

If you don't mind a little wait on the weekend, this is te place to have a delicious seafood lunch. Lobster roll and crab cake sandwiches rival those further north on the coast. Oysters on the half also delicious and well priced. Bar atmosphere but kids are also present during the day. More of a food establishment than bar.

We enjoyed a good lunch here while taking a break from site seeing. The prime rib sandwich is amazing! The service was good and you could tell it was a town favorite as the place was packed. This place took bar good to the next level!

We took our 6 children and they loved it. Chili was good- but a tad spicy for my younger children. Oysters were fabulous- we were not huge fans of the crab cakes as many others had raved about. The fried shrimp from NC was EXCELLENT. The restaurant is a dive, but has character and low key atmosphere. There were several... More

When you enter this pub, you just don't expect the quality of food that they deliver. We had their clam chowder which is one of the better clam chowders we have ever had, if you are going to get clam chowder go for the bowl, or a few cents more you are getting a monster portion. We also had mussels... More

Chef Dean told us where he gets his seafood and he showed us the fresh never frozen wild Alaskian salmon he had just received. He personally prepared our meal. It was excellent. Great server and plenty of food for good price.

The rock fish sandwich was delicious. The serving is enough for two people. I comes with french fries.

If I were judging Yorktown Pub on the crabcakes only, I would give them 5 stars. We were told by a local that the lump meat crabcakes here are the best in the area (not to mention reasonably priced), and I believe him. Absolutely delicious. The pub is, well, a pub -- noisy, not very high-end liquor (very cheap Barefoot... More
