The pub isn't all that big. We arrived after 7PM on a Tuesday and had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Chalk boards announce the specials and when I see fresh scallops, I tend to get them broiled. The wife got the fried seafood platter. Sadly, the broiled scallops were sinfully over-cooked (dried out). The crab cake in the... More

This place used to be good but today I was really disappointed. The servers were all grouchy and acted like they didn't want to serve you.One who brought the menu just dumped it on the table.the food was just okay nothing to rave about. Now I have been here had really good food and service.Today was a real disappointment.

We just stopped in for lunch. After checking out all the spots along the water we decided on this one. It fit what we wanted. Susan, my wife, had blackened Rockfish and I had an oyster poboy with "BoomBoom" sauce. Very spicy. We also both had Stella Artois Cidre (their spelling) for the first time. Very refreshing. We'd return in... More

Great view, comfortable atmosphere, and above average pub food. I ordered the standard burger and fries. Not the best burger I have ever had. I wish I had tried the crab cakes. They looked good on a table next to us.

Stopped here for fish soup lunch. My wife had the mixed seafood soup bowl and I had the clam chowder. Both were great and pretty large servings. Right across the street from the beach, better pricing then the "tourist" restaurants right in the heart of the shopping/tourist area.

Food was excellent, ambiance was excellent, bartender was a bit bothered. Can someone please let her know it's OK to smile and at least act like your happy to have a job?

From the window table you have a great view of the York River and enjoy one of their great burgers (the on I had was great!). The waitstaff did a great job serving our table.

Four of us are in the Williamsburg area this week, and Yorktown was definitely on our list. We noticed the Yorktown Pub as we drove along the waterfront of this tiny revolutionary period town. It was very laid back as every good pub should be! The menu had a lot to offer from sandwiches and salads to yummy fresh, Chesapeake... More

I base my ratings off of the total experience. The service, location and gator bites is the only reason I give this pub of good of a rating is I did. Me and my wife went here our first night staying in Yorktown. Its very tight and loud inside, which is okay for this kind of place. We were seated... More
