We came here really wanted to like it. The atmosphere is exactly what you would want to see in an Atlantic shoreside town. It seems to be popular with the locals as well as tourists. The only problem is that the food is spectacularly bland. My daughter ordered the po boy sandwich and discovered that it was a pile of... More

This is a great stop after touring Yorktown and the Yorktown Battle Field. The place is quite noisy but the waitstaff is great and the food is very good. The beer is cold, served in frosty glass mugs and it is a fun place to spend an hour or two after a busy day as a tourist. Prices are a... More

The building fronts the Yorktown beach, so not a bad spot. We got a couple of burgers and some diet colas, and we were very happy when we left. The meat was fresh, seasoned well, cooked right - there were lots of choices of buns and cheese - and the fries and salads were okey-dokey. We had a nice meal... More

We stopped here on the recommendation of a local - we were not disappointed. It is a very casual, local bar atmosphere, and it is cold inside (take a light jacket). The food was quite good, though the prices did seem a bit high. The seafood was tasty, and they did have the absolute best clam chowder I have ever... More

It was nice being by the water, but the building interior could use some repair and updating. The service was good, as was the food.

Ask any of the locals where they eat. Most likely they will tell you the Yorktown Pub. It was noisy but, the the food was wonderful! The serving size was very large. Try this one out.

Yorktown Pub is the perfect place to enjoy good drinks, delicious food for a good prices in a fun and casual atmosphere. Right on the Yorktown waterfront as well, so you can enjoy a nice walk before/after your meal. I would highly recommend this place to those who are seeking a good seafood, burger/sandwiches, and/or fries.

First of all, the recommendation to come here was to have a beer and enjoy the waterfront. We didn't expect to have such GREAT food. The clam chowder was the best I've tasted since Tony's (award winning, from Cedar Key, FL). I then ordered the Hanover tomato salad. I had heard about these tomatoes from a local, but had not... From Bikers to Tourists to local Business Folks, people flock to this popular eatery for their fresh fish. It can be fresh shucked, deep fried or broiled, but it will be very tasty and served in a very informal bar and grill and that works had to give itself a biker-hangout feel. Just go and enjoy.

Checked out this local favorite while vacationing with the family. Best clam chowder I've had in a really long time! Overall food prices were definitely set for tourist (a bit high for what you get) but the food itself was well prepared. We were overcharged on our bill. The waitress corrected the charges. Just be sure to check, especially since... More
