Delicious, delicious, delicious! Lots of locals eat here and I know why. I ate the fried beef cutlet with white gravy. It was the best I have ever eaten. Food served was hot and delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Small town charm!

We came right after church and we were seated and served promptly by a friendly waitress. It is getting harder to find "real" Southern cooking so we were very happy we chose this restaurant. We all had veggie plates and could barely finish our meal...delicious. We ate here years ago and it is still as good.

This is a great place for home cooked food and great service but the soup is the real reason to go! From time to time my body craves the great vegetable soup and the broccoli cheddar that they serve on their salad bar. It reminds me of my grandmother's home made soup that was canned fresh from her garden. Never... More

I enjoy going to park place. Everytime i go i really enjoy it. The vegetables always taste fresh. the food is always good. They have some of the best fish around these parts. And to top all of that, this place is affordable. There is one thing i wish they would bring back. they use to have the best deep... More

While less-than-stellar food is sometimes something I will overlook when dining out with friends, that which is unforgivable is rudeness out of the employees. Our large group of approximately 15 finished up just about the same time that Park Place closes. As we tried to get away, it does take some time for that many people to take care of... More

This place is a gem. Fried Green Tomatoes, Chicken fried steak with country gravy, Fried Okra, Hushpuppies, Turnip greens, real ice Tea & Peach cobbler. It's rare I find a meal that I've never tried before. It's unheard that it's all great tasting and it has "Zero" calories and there is no such thing a cholesterol south of the "Mason-Dixie"... More

We stopped in for lunch after visiting the National Battlefield. We were seated right away. I had the smoked chicken and my husband had the smoked pulled pork. Both were excellent. The BBQ sauce that came with them was just the right combination of sweet and hot. The greens were excellent, seasoned just right. The squash casserole was a standout.... More

Stopped in today and had a wonderful lunch. The soup and salad bar were outstanding. Home cooked vegetables were well cooked and seasoned nicely. Homemade cornbread was southern style without heavy sugar. Sweet tea was just right. Excellent meal and service.

The food was good, there was plenty of it, and the sides were tasty. What else can we ask of a small town family restaurant. You can't go wrong here, and it is much better than the alternative, fast food or chains. It filled my belly after a day on the road, and I left with a bit of a... More
