While staying at the wonderful Clocktower Inn we had a nice dinner at The Habit in downtown Ventura. The generous portion of Grilled Albacore is always delicious and the Tri-Tip Steak is excellent too. Can be assured to get a good meal at a good price.

Great burgers close to the beach in downtown Ventura. I think they top Inn and Out. My go to place when I want a burger.

I start out by saying I am a California boy native to SoCal. I have spent many a night at In and Out. These guys beat them hands down. Better and bigger burgers. Excellent onion rings. Try the ahi sandwich as well. A small chain I have found them all very consistent. Fill yourself drinks. Very clean sitting room. Great... More

Really? I'm eating this hamburger and I must come up for air! It was so good, I had to physically make myself slow down and breath!!! Gosh it was juicy and super tasty! The fries were also very good. Perfect crispness and salt. These people know what they are doing!! Two thumbs up!

You can walk to the Habit from the Crown Plaza Ventura Beach Hotel. The burgers and fries and really good. I have eaten there on several occasions and I have never been disappointed.

The albacore sandwich is to "live" for. For me I just add a little tartar sauce and I'm in heaven. Try dipping the great fries in the tartar sauce, mmmm good.

The Habit is a great place to get a quality burger, chicken sandwich, and the likes. The food quality is good and they have a variety of healthier options including Sweet Potato fries. I had the Santa Barbara Cobb salad and can definitely recommend it. This location is fairly small inside but does have some outside seating as well.

We eat here every time we're in Ventura. Our daughter attends school in nearby, Ojai, CA, and loves the Veggie Burger. So we always take the 30 minute drive from Ojai to Ventura for the burgers, sandwiches and fries at Habit. Parking is tight and minimal. The bathroom is outside and always in need of attention. Doors are commonly left... More
