Quaint

An authentic, small, funky local eatery on Seaward. They do not serve beer/wine. The service was fantastic. We shared a huge combo and loved it.

They have two styles of food, so they can please everyone. The unhealthy kind, which includes the dish I had, which was a combo of Fish & Chips, with fried shrimp and clams. Very tasty, and the batter was light. My wife had the grilled seafood salad, and she says it was delicious. The service was excellent and friendly. My... More

Came by with couple friends after climbing up in Ojai. Our order took forever to come out (two other parties that ordered AFTER us got their food before us) and the two of the orders were wrong (they were supposed to come with onion rings instead of fries). The waitress apologized and we waited a while longer to get the... More

Came here for the 1st time about 10 - 11 years ago and always promised ourselves to come back one day and we did. What's more, we were NOT to be disappointed! We had halibut all those years ago and we had Halibut again this time and it was exquisite. Each mouth watering bite went down so well. So, if... More

We ate here at the recommendation of the staff at Inn on the Beach. It is tiny, but the food is outstanding! Fresh, tasty fish served with chips, in tacos or in a sandwich. They also have other seafood. The service was outstanding. No alcohol.

We arrived in Ventura at dinner time. Walked to this restaurant from Marriott. Just off the beach. We ordered one Captain's platter, which was enough to share. It had 4 pieces of lightly battered cod, fries, lightly battered onion rings and a good sized portion of really good coleslaw. It was a good way to try several things. Service was... More

After spending an afternoon on the beach it was very nice to have dinner so close. Good was fresh and service was excellent. I highly recommend the fish and chips. The shrimp was also very good.

From the outside this place doesn't look like much, but just go in and have some fish and chips. They are well done (deep fried, obviously). The portions are large so unless you are starving just go with a something in the middle ground on the menu. I missed lunch and still couldn't eat all of the larger option.

We have been here a few times now, and have never been disappointed! There are many options including some great fried veggies. There is plenty of fish and seafood that is coated with a great tasting light batter, unlike some other places where the fish pieces are mostly batter. In Fall of 2013 they closed down for a bit for... More

There are a lot of places serving fish n chips. Some of them serve very good fish. This one serves very good fish in a unique atmosphere. There is money everywhere. It's stuck to the ceiling, to the walls, to the cooler, everywhere about 5 feet off the floor and up has money stuck to it. A lot of the... More
