We had a pleasant lunch experience at this bistro and nice chat with the executive chef / owner Michael Noyes. This is breakfast / lunch venue and is affordable and tasty. We each had the Tomato Bisque soup and the Tuna Melt and 3 cheese sandwiches. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere is rustic and bright. The ingredients that... More

On April 23rd, 2011 my daughter hosted a wine pairing dinner for her future sister in law. The dinner was planned as a wine pairing dinner and the chef was just amazing in coming up with some outstanding courses to pair with wonderful wines for everyone!! Even though several of the guests were late(and a couple not even showing up)... More

We were first time visitors to the City of Ventura, so we parked for free at the parkade at the corner of Santa Clara and California, and made our way to the Visitors Information station. Armed with a walking map and a recommendation to consider Main Street for lunch options, we began the process of looking at menus and checking... More

I have been to Westside cellar severals times for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they are now open for breakfast and lunch! Dinner there is always amazing (I personally am a huge fan of the duck) but I was curious to see how breakfast would play out. You will NOT be disappointed! Just like dinner,... More

I went to this restaurant based on the high rating it has on Trip Advisor. I have to give it a mixed review based on the following: Positives: Nice atmosphere, friendly service, well decorated. I had the chicken schitzel based on other reviewers recommendations and it was terrific. Negatives: My boyfriend ordered a steak that was supposed to be very... More

I went to dinner with friend and absolutely fell in love. We got there at almost 9 and were seated right away without reservations on a Friday night. The atmosphere is perfect for a first date or an evening out, and the fireplace in the dining room adds to the environment. I had the crab cakes and the chicken schnitzel... More

My boyfriend took me here for our anniversary. It has a very cozy, romantic atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. The food was amazing--every single bite. We had the shrimp scampi for an appetizer, wow, then we both decided on the chicken snitzel for dinner, which smelled fantastic and tasted even better. I have been craving this dish ever since.... Six of us had dinner ( 3 couples) on New Year's eve and we were not disappointed! Food was good but what really mad the night was the service Brandon provided. I would highly recommend this restaurant our wives were atill raving about it today!

Everytime I dine at westside cellars, I am not disappointed. The food is top quality. The meals are consistently good, tastefully and elegantly prepared. Plus there is also a good wine list. The ambiance is cozy and romantic yet also good for group dinners. I have had romantic dinner dates and corporate functions - both very positive experiences. I highly... More
