My friends and I have had lunch here and will return. Fun old house with a cute patio where we dined both times. The food is fresh and delicious. Having a gluten allergy it was not a problem since they prepare everything in house. We have tried the Cobb Salad, Spicy Jambalaya, Spicy Chicken Poblano, and sandwiches. The food tastes... More

My wife and I and parents went here after reading all the good reviews. It did not disappoint! I had a wonderful ahi avocado wrap with a delicious mild wasabi dip. A wonderful combination of flavors. My wife had the chicken enchiladas and she thought they were really yummy. Prior to the entree we had a really good focaccia bread... More

Pancakes were excellent, served hot with caramel butter sauce. A bit sweet for me, but my sister and brother in law really enjoyed them. We ordered the huevos rancheros that came with your choice of tortillas, flour or corn, potatoes, and refried beans. The sauce was great, the eggs done right, and we got extra corn tortillas. All in all,... More

The food was very good - a nice menu with both familiar dishes and some things unique. We had the Napa chicken for lunch and it was great. The ambiance is also adorable - the patio is wonderful and very comfortable even in the middle of the day and they allow dogs.

The place is quaint and the server knew everything about the menu! A plus when ordering. Get there early though as there is always a line to get in. Super fresh and great service done right!

Hey Ventura! Wake up! You've got a first rate dinner restaurant in your midst and it was all but empty at 7PM last Saturday night. A return for brunch on Sunday and the place was packed with a 20 minute wait. What do you do on Saturday night? Call out for third rate pizza? Six of us had a splendid... More

Had a delicious breakfast here and loved the charming setting. It is clearly a renovated old home so seating is in various rooms. We opted for the outdoor patio area which is surrounded by plants that keep it private from the street. Loved this area. The breakfast menu was varied. In our group we had the Brioche French toast, the... More

Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Generous portions, great service (June is the best), and good food all inside a converted 1920s Spanish house. You and your pooch can also dine al fresco on their patio. For dinner, I recommend the stuffed avocado rolls, the Empanaldo del Mar (seafood in parchment) and the seafood stuffed pasilla pepper. Their burgers aren't... More

My wife and I eat here often. The food is always excellent. We have dined here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have always been treated to a terrific meal. The service is friendly and prompt. There is a nice outdoor patio space which is great when the weather is good. We think the prices are very fair and the... More

Cafe Nouveau is a great restaurant at a very fair price. The service is also excellent. Highly recommend Cafe Nouveau and its dog friendly patio.
