Another great meal at you Yolanda's. We went to Yolanda's to celebrate our 40th anniversary with our family. We had reservations and our table was ready when we arrived. The drinks were quickly served and were as excellent as usual. While there were only eight of us, the server had some difficulty in keeping our orders straight. Everyone commented on... More

Yolanda's is a great place for everything. Date night, family dinner with the kids, huge parties and even a Wedding rehearsal dinner like I had. Service is good and food is always great. We can also count on never waiting long, unless you go on Cinco de Mayo.

We absolutely loved the food, service, and atmosphere. This is a place that we will come back again and again.. The potions are big and the flavor was amazing. Margaritas were awesome!

We try to eat at Yolanda's whenever we are in the area. Their Chili relleno and tamales are some of the best I have had in the past 30 years. My wife loves their salads and we both love the margaritas. This past visit was the first time I tried the lunch buffet and it was wonderful. There was a... More

Very large and quiet restaurant, nice ambiance, with solicitous service. Our food was ordered and arrived quickly around noon. My wife liked her chili verde, but it was "very mild nothing special." I had a combo plate w/taco and tamale. Both were fine, as were the nondescript rice and beans. In my judgment there was nothing to distinguish this food.... More

My family has been going to Yolandas for around 16 years, and for the past two to three years, I have become increasingly disappointed at the quality of the food that is being served at exorbitant prices. The proverbial straw for me was last week, when I tried the special - Margarita Chicken. This was a "chicken breast" topped with... More

Great bar, good margaritas, lots of food for the money...it always covers the plate. I grew up in Southern California and have visited Mexico many times. This is not classic Mexican, but is classic gringo Mexican, which I guess you have to do if you want to please all. I've never been sorry I went to Yolanda's in Ventura or... More

Yolanda's has been doing business in Ventura County for about 30 years for good reason. The food is consistently good--they add or change the menu from time to time to be appealing and fresh. They always work to accomodate customer requests, and readily correct any errors to an order if that happens. They also have a number of emplyees that... More

Followed the lead from the AAA book for a place to eat in Ventura, we stopped at Yolanda's. The interior is very inviting having been painted in bright orange, turquoise, yellow... We were quickly seated as it was not crowded at midday. Along with the menus, we received a bowl of salsa and chips. It was our first inkling of... More

This is decent Mexican food at a decent price served by a pretty helpful staff. Overall there is nothing bad about it but it is not noteworthy at all. We went here for a Mother's Day brunch that was ok and they could accommodate 8 of us, so that was helpful.
