Enjoyed a great meal. It was tasty. The coffee had a great taste. The pancakes were yummy. The fruit salad was fresh. Great place, it was worth the twenty minute wait.

Food here has been GREAT each visit.....yet usually the service is spotty and snotty!!! Servers tend to interact amongst themselves.....this is code for TOO MUCH YAPPING!!! Last thing I wanna hear on a Sunday morning is garbage about the server's dancing evening and debauchery......keep it down or shut it off!!!!

Met a friend from Ojai here for breakfast. She said it was a nice little dinner with good food. She was right. Hubby enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and I certainly enjoyed the eggs benedict. The homemade jam was a bonus.

Everything on the menu is wonderful, the staff is wonderful, it's a wonderful place to go for breakfast! That's the long and short of it!

Allison's is a favorite in Ventura and there is always a wait to be seated. Patrons are often seen sitting on benches outside waiting. The food might be worth the wait, if you have time, but I would not expect to bring someone you want to converse with. We have enjoyed the breakfast food and iconic biscuits with raspberry jam... Wow, officially one of my fave brunch spots! I've come here twice and both times I have not been disappointed! I love their biscuits which are to die for! Their raspberry jam is also to die for! Every time I come here, even tho it's not prime business times, there's always a wait which means that this place is THAT... More

Me and my Buddy went to Allison's for breakfast and it lived up to the hype. This place has got it going on early in the day. My Buddy ate Pumpkin Bread French Toast. The bread was home made by granny... I had a breakfast burrito and it could barely fit on the plate. If you're in Ventura and hungry... More

When travelling in Ventura, we usually eat breakfast at the other highly rated and delicious breakfast spot. We decided to branch out and see if there might be a second equally good spot. We were not disappointed in Allison's. Our spinach and mushroom omelets were perfectly cooked. The absolute best biscuits in the world are served here along with house... More
