Fish with a view!

The civiche is wonderful!! They have a great happy hour with $2.50 premium draft beers and a great selection of bottled beers. Always look forward to coming here when I'm in Ventura.

Eric Ericsson's use to be a nice restaurant on the pier. I didn't go there frequently but it was a nice place to take out of town guests. Now, the restaurant has Beach House Fish, it's fast casual downstairs with limited table service on the upper deck. The upper deck part has an even more limited menu that's more like... More

The restaurant is set on the Ventura pier over the sandy beach. They serve the best fresh fish around in a great atmosphere. The food, drinks and service are all what you would hope for.

Stopped here to watch a beautiful sunset from the upper deck while having some appetizers and drinks. View can't be beat as you watch the waves come in and off in the distance the Channel Islands on the horizon. Fun to watch the kiteboarders and surfers. The appetizer offering was a "build your own boat" of various small dishes which... More

Beautiful weather in November with the freshest fish. Delicious options from cod to lobster, ahi, swordfish, and more. You can choose your fish, then turn it into a sandwich, a salad, a burrito, and even pasta. Has a great little bar and the view of the ocean is unbeatable.

This place has really gone downhill. Last visit the food was just plain awful and the service was soso. Can't beat the view though!

My Wife and I live in walking distance from this restaurant and frequent it often. A favorite thing to do is go there for a bowl of clam chowder and bread with a glass of wine and watch the sunset from their outdoor protected patio upstairs. You can get a nice light meal with tip for about $ 25. Surfers... More

It isn't Eric Ericsson's any longer - has been Beach House Fish for a few months. We have eaten there previously and since the changeover, in both locations, upstairs and down which have different menus and different service formats - table service upstairs, self service downstairs - oddly, the larger menu downstairs is self service, the mostly bar food menu... The view is awesome! The menu selection is nice and reasonably priced. The seacake and seacake sliders are fantastic- Like a crabcake but with scallops and small shrimp as well, on soft rolls with fresh dill. Paired well with garlic fries. Bloody Marys and the Guava Mojito are good, didn't particularly enjoy the fizzy blood orange cocktail- We just thought... More

Eric Ericsson's was originally located down by the beach and when it set up shop in its new, fancy digs on the pier there were definitely some adjustment problems. For about a year, at least one dish per meal had to be sent back. But they finally git it right!
