Pier Perfect Cocktail Hour

Stopped in after a 5 mile hike for a sunset cocktail and discovered it was Happy Hour. You will need to pay attention to what floor you are on, what day it is and what time the Happy Hour starts...but hey that means it's always Happy Hour. The husband and I went up to the 2nd floor and sat at... read more

We had been coming here for years, family birthdays and celebrations, when the restaurant was more upscale. It is now casual, which took us by surprise at first. But we have adjusted, and enjoy the new casual atmosphere. I can't remember the new name, but we LOVE eating here. We travel from the North end of the SFV to eat... More

Love this place! They have a fine selection of craft beers in bottle and on tap as well as wine. The fancy menu drinks are NOT worth it! The servers are great. We tried The Stuffed chilies and they were wonderful. Great place to relax and look at the ocean!

This seafood restaurant benefits from an awesome view of the ocean and the Ventura pier it's on. This alone makes it worth visiting. The food is ok. Not really great but good enough. My wife and I both ordered the cod fish and chips. The fish was really fresh but the batter was oily and a bit over fried. The... More

After a pleasant stroll along Ventura Pier we picked this place for lunch - and certainly were not disappointed. Freshly prepared food, piping hot, served on paper lined metal dishes. Interesting potatoes with crunchy deep fried garlic pieces ensured everyone kept a wide berth from us, but tasted amazing. We sat at front, enjoying the pier and sea views, quaffing... More

We were staying just next door at the Crowne Plaza and wanted to catch the sunset and get something to eat, so this place was perfect. We were fortunate that it was a Monday night so it wasn't busy and we had the choice of sitting upstairs in the restaurant or ordering at the counter. We chose the counter service... More

We ended up going two nights in a row. First night was upstairs a la carte - the menu seems restrictive when you consider the can cook your fish however you like on the ground floor. Atmosphere was a lot more subdued too. Second night age downstairs. Good food, some portions were large and others not so (shell fish especially).... More

The Happy Hour is a great value! We enjoyed $5.00 cocktails & $3.00 beers. Our cocktails were amazing! The happy hour menu included delicious fish & chips and a platter of oysters. Both plates were generous. The location is perfect...overlooking the ocean. What a wonderful way to spend a late afternoon. Afterwards, we walked on the pleasant boardwalk to our... More

I had the fish and chips (of coarse) and it was some of the best I've had. My son had a salmon burrito and couldn't stop raving about it. Local beer on tap and delicious appetizers. If you haven't been, you gotta try it out.

You can't beat the view on the outside patio of Eric Ericsson's. We have been there several times and always enjoy it. Nice for lunch or happy hour. Good happy hour prices. Food is very good. Service is usually good but we have had a few slow servers.
