My Wife and I live in walking distance from this restaurant and frequent it often. A favorite thing to do is go there for a bowl of clam chowder and bread with a glass of wine and watch the sunset from their outdoor protected patio upstairs. You can get a nice light meal with tip for about $ 25. Surfers... More

It isn't Eric Ericsson's any longer - has been Beach House Fish for a few months. We have eaten there previously and since the changeover, in both locations, upstairs and down which have different menus and different service formats - table service upstairs, self service downstairs - oddly, the larger menu downstairs is self service, the mostly bar food menu... The view is awesome! The menu selection is nice and reasonably priced. The seacake and seacake sliders are fantastic- Like a crabcake but with scallops and small shrimp as well, on soft rolls with fresh dill. Paired well with garlic fries. Eric Ericsson's was originally located down by the beach and when it set up shop in its new, fancy digs on the pier there were definitely some adjustment problems. For about a year, at least one dish per meal had to be sent back. But they finally git it right!

This restaurant is very good and the view is incredible! Always order the fresh local fish and you won't be sorry. They also have a good selection of local California Wine at reasonable prices. It is located at the base of the Ventura Pier which is a FREE ATTRACTION! Lure Fish House in downtown Ventura might possibly be better seafood... More

I ordered the wahoo fish tacos and the tacos were huge and packed with fish. I could only eat one, but I gladly took the other home. My friend ordered a pasta dish that was was really flavorful, also plenty of fish and veggies. I think for the fresh quality of fish that you get the prices are worth it.... More
