Great little place along the beach. I liked that you can order at the window and wait to pick up your food. There were many barstool and also picnic/family style bench seating. The Fish Taco's were among the best I have had. There was a Bike Marathon going on so there were hundreds of people however they were still able... More

When there's only one fast-food spot at an attraction like the Ventura Pier, you might not expect this: prices were reasonable, and the servings were generous. My Baja Fish Taco (a $2 Thursday special) was delicious, with plenty of fresh and tender fish and cilantro lime slaw on warm, fresh corn tortillas; my husband could only eat half of his... More

Fabulous fish tacos! Worker Autumn girl is amazing! She has a great attitude, fun, friendly. Love the $2 Tecate on a warm summer day to go with our tacos. Wonderful salsas. Tacos are very filling. Definitely a must stop if you're on the promenade or pier!

Great little hut along the beach. I liked the casual vibe... you order at the window and wait to pick up your food. There were many barstool and also picnic/family style bench seating. Food was just okay... it definitely wa fresh but lacked flavor IMHO and the salsa was mediocre and a bit bland. The price was fair and we... More

Love the tacos...all of them! Lots of variety so try them all. Leave room for the plantain because they are GREAT. The views are great. The bathroom is public and not so nice. The restaurant next door is owned by the same company so use theirs. On that note that restaurant (sorry they changed the name and I don;t know... More

We went to the restaurant opposite the taco stand. This was a nice and busy restaurant during the weekend. Service was good but table seating is very limited upstairs. Nicer menu available downstairs!

Beach house tacos used to be Eric Ericsons. a party of six of us visited Sunday, what a horrific change. The whole place is basically set up for only parties of two at bar tables, no sit down seating except a small booth upstairs. Downstairs no waiters. We asked for a table for six and we're told to shove some... More

Exceptional location and a terrible business model! Right on the pier at Ventura Beach, great potential for a restaurant, the food was pretty good, but with poor use of the property, dirty windows, flaky staff and service, the view is wasted.

I was worried about parking like everywhere in california but there is a parking garage here and they validated so we didn't have to pay or worry about crazy meters so happy already. Service was fast, they have kind of a wraparound porch which is nice and everyone like the local beers and the ahi tacos and fish tacos. Not... More

Food was really tasty, however the Beach House Grill, (not the Beach House Taco stand outside,) was the most expensive EVER. $50 for 2 steak burritos, 2 sodas, 1 ceasar salad (shared,) 1 order of green beans and 1 side potato. While the steak, green beans and potato was DELISH, the price was crazy ridiculous. Would try the taco shack... More
