Stop here for a total chill out and relaxing California meal. Fresh fish tacos with a killer view of the Pacific Ocean. Watch the surfers and pelicans and enjoy a Bloody Mary served in a mason jar topped with big shrimp and green olive. Must do walk on the pier after your meal! You can't go wrong. You can either... Their Aji Wasabi taco is the single best food item in Ventura. And it's on the pier. So order that taco, and chips and salsa, then walk the length of the pier, and return to pick up your order. And the fried banana dessert. Oh, and they validate parking.

like a lighthouse to lost ships, the beach taco stand flamed with deckside torches beaconing the weary after a long walk at sunset. the fresh seafood, creative cocktails and friendly service warmed the family without draining the wallet. nice views, good food.

When I visit my mom in Ventura we have our beach days, and tacos are always part of our outing. They have a wonderful laid back feel and really good food. Plus it is on the pier so you can get your taco to go and then walk down the pier. Great food, good prices.

Almost did. Great fish tacos. Lots of selection. Little on the pricier side, but not expensive. Plan for a large lineup on days when people are out and about.

Never visit a slow fish place; usually this means don't eat fish someplace where there aren't a lot of people eating fish. On this point Beach House Tacos doesn't fail. Half an hour roughly in line to order and another half an hour to get the order or eight tacos. I ordered the basic fish taco, one grilled, one fried.... More

I went for a walk along the beach, then had tacos at this taco stand/open air restaurant. They were very good--and the guacamole was excellent. In the cool of winter, they had heaters out on the deck. Many locals were eating breakfast there--California Mex.

This place doesn't look like much, but there is always a line unless the weather is bad. It's not fancy at all, but I like the food. If it's a choice between this place and Eric Ericcson's nest door, choose this. Service is sometimes slow if the line is long.

A Ventura local took me to Beach House Tacos the first night I was in Ventura for a business trip. I loved it! I ended up going there several nights for dinner. It was fun to be on the pier and the tacos were good. Prices are so reasonable. ..parking was validated. What`s not to like?

This is the third time I've tried this place and the third time it's taken almost an hour and a half to get two tacos and a burrito. It only took five minutes to place my order as there was only one couple in line ahead of me. I waited patiently while other people who ordered after me got their... More
