This is my 2nd visit and nothing has changed in terms of excellent food, service and atmosphere. I like yak chilli and if u want the cool desert try pistacho ice cream. Thanks for being in this town

Best indian food I ve ever Had.. This restaurant is located in the small strip mall, it is very beautiful inside. You can sit on the floor, ohh forgot one thing .... "shoes off", it's the traditonal way of sitting there.. Love their platter..Don't hesitate to ask anything, they will answer all your question...excellent service.....We were lucky they were serving... More

Having just travelled Burma including Sittwe down near the bangladeshi coast, northern thailand and Laos i thought these guys really had the complexity of flavour I enjoy. I don't know what nepalise food is but I know what curry i like and the two we had for lunch on our visit were spot on. A vindaloo and a goat curry.... More

The only good thing was the mint chutney, ok curry, basically ok food. Service needs a lot of improvement, we'll try again in the future

It was a Friday night, and it was kind of busy, maybe they had an off night. Food was just ok while it took forever to come out of the kitchen, they never apologize and when we left we felt completely ignored, we'll try again though

We ate here while on vacation. The Samos chillies were very good..fresh interesting flavors. We then had lamb tikka masala and chicken curry. Both were well prepared with well balanced spices. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and felt it was an excellent value. The service was prompt and the servers inquired about spiciness levels we preferred.

We tried this place twice, once for its lunch specials and once for take out. Both times I got very sick after eating there, I think it might be that they use a lot of MSG which gives me migraines. I really wanted to like this place, the food was good but I can't eat at places that use MSG... More

We decided to stop over at Ventura for lunch on our way back from the Bay Area. A quick yelp search showed us Himalaya. We were skeptical about the small strip mall restaurant. But the skepticism ended there. The food was excellent and the service prompt and good. The butter chicken (makhni) was excellent and so was the paneer masala.... More

The food here is so delicious. It is my and all my friends favorite restaurant. We love the little tables where you can sit on the floor. Of course, there are tables where you don't have to sit on the floor. They bring you a scrumptious soup to start. So healthful and a wonderful way to start a meal. Often... More

Himalaya may have arguably the worst location in the city, but don't for a second let that deter you from joining them for an amazing meal. The service staff is incredibly friendly and very willing to make suggestions if you are not familiar with Tibetan/Indian cuisine. They will also add the appropriate heat to suit your tastes using what they... More
