Decided to make a top at Surf Brewery on our way from Oceanside to the Santa Barbara area. The brewery was close to the freeway and easy to get to. The brewery was much larger than I expected and they have a mini home brew supply shop inside it as well. The decor was cool, the surf theme was well... More

Here visiting from Utah. Found this place. Sat at the bar having a conversation about brewery's with a patron. He knew a lot about Surf Brewery. Yep, part owner (Keith ). Had a great time talking with him. Music fired up. 60s stuff. Awesome. Then the taco truck showed up. Use to live in Vta. Co. Have been eating Mexican... More

This is the best microbrewery I have found in Ventura. They have a nice selection of craft beer for your enjoyment. Not sure what you're thirsty for? No problem. Take a sample and then enjoy a pint of life. Friendly staff, wish the food truck would rotate. Five Stars for sure!

Sometimes you look for that chocolate edge that is over the edge. Pairing Surf Brewery's Porter or Dark Ale with a Chocolate Tamale from the Escabeche food truck outside can be sway the most jaded chocoholic this Valentine's Day.

I really enjoyed learning more about the different beers that are out there and had some great beers to drink at this place. Local people we met at the bar were pleasant and informed us of good local places to check out. I look forward to returning to this place.

This new Brewery located in an industrial park, only open a tad more than a year, doesn't look like much from the outside but has a great atmosphere inside. It is like a Surf Sports Bar with several screens showing incredible rides and wipe-outs!!! Add old long boards and murals and you get the picture. It has suds for every... More

This place surprised me. I did the customary sample of everything and found what I say 3 of the 8 were exceptional, 2 were good, 3 were OK, and 1 was not so good. So, that is a really good record in my book! The Vienna Lager, Mundo's Cream Ale, and the County Rye Pale Ale were exceptional. The place... More

Very good beers, including a Cask Ale every Tuesday. Bring your own food as they only have chips/nuts/snacks. Super nice people and approx 10 craft beers on tap in a large warehouse with beach atmosphere. Large pier mural and numerous surfboards. Best home brew supplies and equipment in the tricounty area.
