They have an excellent brunch selection of items, which I prefer more than the standardized "buffet" all you can eat Sunday brunch. Each meal comes with one free champagne or mimosa, and a second is a mere $4, certainly reasonably priced. They feature different versions of Benedict, stuffed French toast, and a good sampling of other filling meals. Best off,... More

Watermark is Ventura's top continental restaurant, with a super roof top bar, the best and most romantic atmosphere in town, and a good location...even with valet parking upon occasion. If you're going to propose to the lady of your life, this is the place. If you love great scallops, this is the best of the best.

I sat at the bar on a Relaxed Tuesday eve. I ordered a Cosmo (really yummy) and a trout salad. It was tasty, but I want a little more trout in it - 4 small thin slices - didn't quite satisfy. But it WAS reasonably priced! Next time I'll ask for a double order of trout :)

Hubby and I went for birthday dinner. What I have to say about the food: delicious, attractive, good portions. The drinks: martini and old fashioned were great. The building: beautiful, charming; I like the dress code enforcement. The service: wonderful. The dessert: chocolate cheesecake stuffed, chocolate-dipped strawberries!!

We went on a Wednesday evening during happy hour and beyond. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the cheerful service of our female bartender (sorry I don't remember her name). We ordered a zinfandel that wasn't a happy hour wine because we didn't like the cabernet being offered. The shrimp with gorgonzola spring roll with special sauce was so... More

Another couple, my girlfriend and I, stopped in Saturday night for just dessert as we had eaten dinner down the street earlier, not having wanted to wait the 60-90 minutes that these guys (and two others in downtown Ventura, were needing. It was around 9:30 so things were winding down, I guess I have a very difficult time understanding hosting... More

Have driven past Ventura for 25 years. This was our first real visit. Chose Watermark Restaurant on a whim. So glad we did. Loved everything about it and will come back with friends whenever we make a wine tasting trip to Santa Ynez. Great food, ambience, value.

We spent our time on the third floor in the lounge having happy hour hor d'ourves and drinks. Lovely space, which is why I gave it five stars, and the waitstaff was wonderful. The food was interesting, in a good way, but I think I would go back because of the ambiance. We had a variety of appetizers, wine, and... More
