I'm always a little surprised to get a great meal on one of the busiest nights of the year, but the mushroom crusted lamb and it's sides were over the top great. The bar on the top floor is always a pleasure (before the music for me), not that I'm sure if you want to boogie later is wonderful too.... More

This restaurant will take you back in time. The building is impressive and elegant -- a perfect location for a date or special occasion. The Watermark salad is a delicious starter with homemade squaw bread. Not to be missed is the crispy roasted boneless chicken served with a lemon buerre blanc and garlicky seasonal veggies. The Delmonico potatoes were a... More

I always feel special when I come into Watermark - Daisy Buchanan special. The beautiful building - Art Deco meets Ventura Mission - makes me swoon every time. Even after many years, No matter what meal or time of day, I love being in the Watermark. Mark Hartley & crew have done a wonderful job. And Chef Gary does a... More

We managed to sneak in at the end of Happy Hour and were glad we did. It is a very nice place (which is not the norm around this area) with murals on the walls, high ceilings, a great service staff (even if I had to push them a little) and great food and drinks. While we just did the... More

Went for happy hour and it was well worth it. 4 dollar well drinks and 3 dollar bottles. Best part though - 5 dollar calamari. We actually end up getting it twice, ha. View from the third floor was cool too. G Man

The food is average at best, and quite overpriced for Ventura. The best part is the location, and the upstairs bar and local talent. It's fun on a date or before a concert however, the downstairs dinners aren't for me.

First of all, the food is some of the beat prepared and tasting in Ventura county. Everyone in our group had seafood and it was wonderful. The clam chowder, my favorite soup was the best I've ever had and I've tried it in many places. This is an old bank building that has been converted to a restaurant and they... More

6 long time friends met for dinner and it was amazing. The food and service were both top notch. I had the lobster risotto in a baked acorn squash and it was mouth watering. Unfortunately we had theater tickets so we didn't have time for dessert but I'll go back because they looked mouth watering!

My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner. Absolutely beautiful interior. The ambiance is warm and cozy. The attitude of the server mas indifferent at best. He was somewhat snooty when I inquired about certain menu items. My wife ordered a scallop dish and I had a New York Strip. My steak was small but tasty, and the accompanying... More
