Just as some of the other writers have said, I was planning to eat at the other well-reviewed restaurant on this street, but once I got inside there and sat at the narrow counter, I was simply overwhelmed by the noise and confusion, so I left and walked half a block to the Golden Egg. What a great decision! I... More

Ate here with 3 kids who are known for being picky eaters they devoured the food here and commented on how good it tasted and hubby and I enjoyed our food too the service was excellent above and beyond accomodating friendliest staff ever it was like being on an episode of "Cheers" where everyone knows your name. My kids asked... More

Located on Main Street, it has a small parking lot, but parking is no problem. The restaurant is small, but cozy. Painted in bright sunshiny colors, it is neat as a pin. Service is quick and friendly. The breakfast menu has anything you would want. I ordered the corned beef hash. It was tasty and did not have a bit... More

Wanted to try the other place a few doors down, but, thanks to that jerk Guy F., the line was around the block. Saw the Golden Egg Cafe (great name, huh?) and tried it. There was no wait, the owner was very friendly. The food was terrific. We had some trouble with the service, but, got that ironed out when... More

We were planning on going to Pete's down the road, but there were long lines so we went to the Golden Egg and it was amazing. Had two great omeletes, great banana bread, home fried potatoes with rosmary, fresh fruit and excellent service!!!

A great breakfast is to be had at the Golden Egg Cafe. Immediate seating in a funky/homey setting, friendly service and truly delicious food. We enjoyed our tri-tip omelet and veggie scramble. Don't wait - sit down and eat at the Golden Egg!

Great spot for breakfast. Quaint atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating. The food was very good, nice price with friendly, fast service. Busy, but not crowded. I would definitely go back.

We simply LOVE this café. Romero the owner is so friendly, but busy in his kitchen as everything is made with fresh ingredients. Been going for some years now. We visit the area for the summer every year, and can't wait to get back to our favorite corned beef hash. Ask for it extra crispy! It's awesome and homemade from... More

We were on our way to Pete's for breakfast but were deterred by their long waiting line. We were glad to get right in at Golden Egg, and the food was delicious! Sauces made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Traditional breakfast items; some dishes with a Mexican twist; fresh fruit; fresh cinnamon rolls and bananna bread! The service was wonderful.... Yummy food and quick service. I enjoyed French toast , eggs and best bacon I've had in awhile. Friendly service and dog friendly patio make this place worth frequenting.
