We took our daughter to Cattlemen's Steak house and they didn't disappoint us. First of all try to get there early in the evening. It gets packed on weekends. A special treat is the drive getting there. The restaurant sits up on a hill in the middle of the desert (the road is excellent but dark at night). The wait... More

This restaurant had some great food, I had the 10oz steak in blue cheese and mushroom sauce with an awesome baked sweet potatoe for $23.50 which was delicious but over priced in my opinion. The salad bad was the best I've ever seen, with everything from regular/macaroni salad to deserts. Their salad bar was always fully stocked and tended to... More

A local resident said if there's one thing to do in El Paso would be to eat at Cattleman's. She was right! We arrived at 5 (website said it opened at 5) but several people were already eating. We were seated promptly, our order taken, and in 20 minutes we were served some of the best steaks we ever enjoyed.... More

Went here on a Saturday eve. 1/2 hour out of town. 9 people. Got there around 4:30 and were able to sit right away. They don't take reservations. Be prepared to wait if you go later. Steaks were excellent. Had the 2 lb porterhouse. Melt in your mouth. Very good beans and coleslaw.

We had about 5 different people recommend this place to eat. It actually lived up to all the hype. The food and service was excellent. It was about 45 minutes to get there from our motel by the airport BUT well worth the drive.

This place is worth the drive from El Paso. Went with 2 other people who also enjoy their meals very much. I started with an appetizer of smoked sausage which very good and also had the beef ribs. The atmosphere of this place is awesome walking looking at the stuff that was there.

We ate here on a Wed evening about 630. We had several people tell us to be sure to eat here before we left El Paso and were very excited to try it! We were seated promptly and a waitress soon after for our drink order. That was the end of our positive experience. Steak was very overcooked, coleslaw arrived sitting... More
