Better than we expected

Good seafood is not easy to come by in El Paso. The only place that I have ate at that they charge you for your sides because they don't come with the entrees. The waitress nor did the menu explain that you get charged for your sides.

Went here for dinner with a friend. Right when you walk into the place it's like your back in the 80's. This is a very old school restaurant from the atmosphere to the menu. We started out with crab cakes,a cup of thin canned tasting clam chowder and a average looking French onion soup then we had a couple filet... More

I stopped by here a few nights & had the ribeye. I have to say the steak was one of the best I've ever had. The steak was very good quality and it was cooked to perfection-and under 30 bucks! The service was perfect and the ambiance great; can't go wrong with this place.

I love coming here for fresh seafood and steaks. From the fresh oysters to the crab, shrimp and steaks.

We've lived on the Westside of El Paso for about 10 years and passed Pelican's on our way out to eat for years, noting how the parking lot was always full. We finally decided to try it ourselves and we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food and service were. We now visit about 2-3 times a month and... More

Great bar that locals visit after work daily. Good seafood and steaks, good service from waiters that have been here a long time. This is a place that locals frequent. Old fashioned good food and service.

I went in for the first time this afternoon, and the only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because I only had one appetizer and no entree. So here is a recommendation you HAVE to try if you go in or are near this place. Get the crab stuffed mushrooms. WOW! absolutely amazing. I ordered a 2nd, and loved... More

I get the ambiance of low light etc., but this restaurant last night was too dark. Folks around were saying it was dark, several people took out their cell phones and used their flashlights to read the menus. Food; shrimp cocktail was tough very little cocktail sauce but lots of cut lettuce to give it height. The clam chowder was... More

Our dinner on Saturday night was notable for very good seafood (for El Paso), the standout was the Piccata Orange Roughy. Very good steak. Big salads and heaping veggie sides were appreciated. Calamari was thick and well seasoned. Didn't have room for dessert. Service and value were average. Dark interior with bar and MLB on the TV. Pretty busy place.
