I used to LOVE going to the original Mesa Street so I decided to try out the new location. I went with my young daughter and a girlfirend and immediatley felt unwelcomed by the front of house staff. There were three hostesses and we did not have a reservation, which according to them it is preferred. Which is not a... More

Yes, we do recommend reservations, but we shouldn't have made you feel unwelcome for not having one, especially so early in the evening. I completely understand how a certain tone can make a pleasant evening turn sour, and I'll be sure to speak to the whole team about that right away. However, I know we're better than this, and I'm... The New digs are excellent with plenty of parking. The service was excellent and the food very good. The Tuna and Sea Bass were perfectly cooked and accompanied by very good garnish. I will return. The wife was very impressed and that means more than most. reviews.

Consistently excellent food and service for either casual or fine dining. Great steak soup! Super hamburgers! Equally impressive for steaks or seafood.

When Mesa St Grill announced their move to a new location, I was disturbed at the location. Several restaurants had been in that building and all went under. After seeing what had been done in remodeling, I am convinced this will NOT be the downfall of the Mesa Street Grill. The food and service they provide in the new location... More

Made a reservation for dinner on a Friday night at 5pm, before the One Direction Concert in EP. They lost the reservation. With a mostly empty appearing restaurant, they seated us outside on the patio surrounded by smokers and drinkers. Okay, I know it's got a bar, but we had three teenage girls ages 15-17 and this was totally inappropriate... More

First off, please allow me to apologize. We're transitioning from our old location, but there's no excuse for losing your reservation, or for seating you among the guests who chose to smoke. I'll talk to the team about that right away, Scott, but I hope we'll have a chance to make this right. Don't hesitate to reach out if you... More

Mesa Street Grill is a nice getaway in El Paso. The menu offers more traditional items than alot of the resturants in the area. I am not a big fan of the spicy food culture in the area, so this is a great getaway. The steaks and seafood are simply wonderful!

They have moved to a new location. Restaurant is nice throuout. Lots of people trying out the new restaurant. We had reservation and it took only few minutes to get our table. Service was good. Menu had few limited items and all the meals were overpriced comparing to other restaurants in el Paso. Taste and quality of food was not... More

We pride ourselves on using the freshest ingredients we can get, and unfortunately, this commitment to quality can be costly. However, we've always felt that it was worth it, so I'm sorry we fell short for you, Siamak. What did you order? Let me know if you want to talk, Aaron, Owner More

I saw the previous reviews/comments about this restaurant. Wanted to try something special. Well when I called to make a reservation, I was told to sit in the dining area was a more formal type dress, so Ielected to sit on the dining/bar area. Well that was not the case when we got there, we ended up sitting in the... More

I'm so sorry, Frank. We just moved locations, and we are still working out the kinks that come along with a new kitchen. I'll talk to the team about this right away, but I want to assure you that this was an isolated incident. I know we can do better, and I hope we'll have the chance to demonstrate that... More

I visited the Mesa Street Grill in their new location in El Paso and I can only say that my experience was one that I could describe as just growing pains, or put a different way since it is not a new restaurant but a new location, ironing out the kinks as they had just moved. First, the service was... More

You're right, Wes -- we definitely should have updated our wine list to reflect the change in vintage. I'm sorry if you felt your server wasn't understanding of that, and I'll talk to the whole team to make sure all of our guests feel that their requests are heard. Aside from that, slow service and underwhelming dishes aren't OK with... More
