Made a reservation for dinner on a Friday night at 5pm, before the One Direction Concert in EP. They lost the reservation. With a mostly empty appearing restaurant, they seated us outside on the patio surrounded by smokers and drinkers. Okay, I know it's got a bar, but we had three teenage girls ages 15-17 and this was totally inappropriate... More

Mesa Street Grill is a nice getaway in El Paso. The menu offers more traditional items than alot of the resturants in the area. I am not a big fan of the spicy food culture in the area, so this is a great getaway. The steaks and seafood are simply wonderful!

They have moved to a new location. Restaurant is nice throuout. Lots of people trying out the new restaurant. We had reservation and it took only few minutes to get our table. Service was good. Menu had few limited items and all the meals were overpriced comparing to other restaurants in el Paso. Taste and quality of food was not... More

We pride ourselves on using the freshest ingredients we can get, and unfortunately, this commitment to quality can be costly. However, we've always felt that it was worth it, so I'm sorry we fell short for you, Siamak. What did you order? Let me know if you want to talk, Aaron, Owner More

I saw the previous reviews/comments about this restaurant. Wanted to try something special. Well when I called to make a reservation, I was told to sit in the dining area was a more formal type dress, so Ielected to sit on the dining/bar area. Well that was not the case when we got there, we ended up sitting in the... More

I'm so sorry, Frank. We just moved locations, and we are still working out the kinks that come along with a new kitchen. I'll talk to the team about this right away, but I want to assure you that this was an isolated incident. I know we can do better, and I hope we'll have the chance to demonstrate that... More

I visited the Mesa Street Grill in their new location in El Paso and I can only say that my experience was one that I could describe as just growing pains, or put a different way since it is not a new restaurant but a new location, ironing out the kinks as they had just moved. First, the service was... More

You're right, Wes -- we definitely should have updated our wine list to reflect the change in vintage. I'm sorry if you felt your server wasn't understanding of that, and I'll talk to the whole team to make sure all of our guests feel that their requests are heard. Aside from that, slow service and underwhelming dishes aren't OK with... More

We were in El Paso with friends for weekend visit. Mesa Street Grill was a wonderful surprise. We stopped in for lunch had such great service, food and fun we made reservations for dinner. The staff, wine list, food and atmosphere were fantastic. The tuna and salmon dinners were super. The single malt and tequila selections were great for after... More

This restaurant is one of my all time favorites. The food is always great! The service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is very fun. From formal dining. A wonderful bar area, and great patio for more relaxed fun. I've been going for years and have never been disappointed.

As a restaurant, this place has a nice atmosphere. Loud in spots but quiet in the dining area for the most part. The service left me cold, waiting for at least ten minutes to order all at once as the waiter seemed to just ignore us and the place wasn't that busy on a Thursday night. So we figured, let's... It sounds like we should have been a lot more attentive, Robert, and I'm sorry that we fell short. I'll definitely talk to our team about that right away -- do you remember your server's name? As for our menu, we do have a unique take on Italian and Mexican dishes, and we're curious as to what else you've tried.... More

Bring back what made the old MSG so great! The service and quality are sorely lacking, at the new location. Unprofessional service and steaks not cooked to order and/or served cold. We've come to expect so much more from MSG. We love the wine list and great menu choices. We hope they bring the service and quality issues back up... More

You should expect the best from us, so I'm really sorry to hear that you weren't impressed with our new location. Clearly, your steaks should have been cooked perfectly and served hot, so we'll talk to our kitchen about this right away, but we're really grateful that you're willing to give us another try. I know we can show you... More

First time visitting the new location on Mesa street. Did noto have a reservation and was told that we had a 15-20 min wait for two people when you can easily see that tables at the bar and also outside were open with no reservation. Finally sat down after 5 min; then was asked to take our drink order by... More

You're absolutely right, Mark. As soon as we noticed an issue, we should have admitted our mistake, fixed it and did everything in our power to make sure you left happy.
