We stopped here on our way through El Paso aince the reviews were so good. First off its in a run down area. We pulled up to an entire biker gang (not saying that is why it was dangerous) but the door man came over and knocked on my car window to advice me I better leave right now. Of... More

Authentic Mexican food! Even the complimentary salsa tasted sooo good. Enchillada's were amazing so was the Queso cheese as an appetizer. The portions are huge the service is fast and I will go back there for sure!!!! BEST MEXICAN MEAL THAT I HAVE EVER HAD!!!

My colleagues and I ate here while attending a conference in El Paso. Originally being from New Mexico, I was hoping to be able to find some Hatch green chile. Yes, I know I was in Texas but I figured they were only an hour away from Las Cruces so maybe they would have green chile. I looked up various... More

Im a native and its always interesting to see so many out of towners at this place. For this reason the restaurant should work towards a cleaner appearance especially the restrooms to keep them coming back. The food is average for my taste but sometimes cleanliness makes the difference. The place looks rundown. I may enjoy the food more if... More

Solid service and delicious food. Really excellent quality. The restaurant is in a neighborhood across from a graveyard, and the area is a little shady.

My family and I finally made it here on a Friday night after hearing so much about this restaurant. We arrived around 5:30 PM and noticed there were not a lot of parking options. We had to park next to the cemetery up the street. I am fine with this, but the area looked quite sketchy (e.g., everyone had bars... More

Amazing food! I loved that they offer a "lighter" option, no lard, not fried, etc... wasn't lacking any of the flavor though :) very good experience and we highly recommend

Having lived in El Paso a short two years, we miss L&J cafe more than anything! The food is simply amazing, the sauce nothing short of spectacular, and the wait staff are awesome! And, to top it off, we saw Eddie Money there on New Year's Eve eating dinner this past year, which was super fantastic also. If we ever... More
