I had guacamole tacos and found the portion very generous. It tasted great. I especially enjoyed the sauces that came with the complimentary bowl of chips. The athmosphere was nice, the eating area was secluded from the bar. Service was very good. Only the location was a bit of a negative, away from the main streets.

Great Food, Hot and Fast. Some excellent Tex-Mex!! Great prices and super friendly staff. It's got a unique atmosphere, with a great Bar. We saw people in suits and jeans, so very casual dinning!

This was my first time in El Paso, which I used as an entry to Guadalupe Mountains National Park. I have to preface this review by saying it was also Halloween night and there was a staff costume show so it wasn't a normal night. The bar in front was fairly rowdy but there is separate restaurant seating in the... More

I loved this restaurant. It appears from the exterior to be a greasy hole in the wall. The inside is cramped, but feels clean and fun. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. I loved the chips with guacamole. I had some green chile enchiladas which were great, probably the best I've had. I loved the whole experience here. I felt... More

We wanted to try truly authentic Mexican and experience the best El Paso had to offer. This place is full of history, is not located in a typical nor traditional location but don't let location deter you from visiting. The wait was so worth it, we sat at the bar where it was 2 and 3 deep and took his... More

Another El Paso gem! Not a bright, shiny exterior, but the food and service are worth coming in for! The chips and salsa they bring to your table right away are really tasty....although the salsa can be pretty HOT!!!! Everyone had something different and no one was disappointed. I especially like the fajita burrito. But my favorite has to be... More

I LOVE Mexican and Tex-Mex, and I have been called a tortilla snob more than once in my life. Super excited to try L&J after seeing the reviews. We arrived at 5:30PM on a Saturday and had about a 30 minute wait. Once seated, our service was fairly quick considering how busy the restaurant was, and waiters were attentive. I... More

The locals apparently rave about this place. But service is inattentive at best, The ladies seem to ignore anyone who isn't a regular or their buddy or whatever. The food portions were oddly below average and quality was simply "regular".
