Thick slices of bread with honey butter goes great with anything you order! The brisket is great as well as their turkey. You have to order a milkshake! And their appetizer mushrooms. Ugh can't wait to go here again!

We visited here for dinner whilst staying at the Best Western 5/10 minutes walk away on our 19 day road trip from Miami to LA The BBQ was excellent, we had the brisket and it was very nice and whilst not quite the best we had on our trip, it was certainly a place i would come back to if... More

The food there was out of this world, I have never had better bbq the sauce had a little kick and not too sweet. I had the sausage, brisket and pork ribs and all 3 were as perfect as it comes I never expected to find anything this good for a great price, please try

Over the years, the food has gone from outstanding to "just another BBQ place." This used to be my wife's favorite place when we were first married, so going to the State Line was always special. We didn't even mind the long waits back then, and there were ALWAYS waits, from 1/2 to 1 hour. This last trip, we were... More

We heard about it in passing once in a while... then as we looked around for a place we were going to use the road it is on for a turn around when I spotted the State Line sign and called out for us to halt "That is suppose to be really good food and sort of a clean but... More

I went there a couple times for business dinners. The food is nice, great steaks. Sometimes the wait is a little bit long.

Have eaten here four or five times over the last 25 years. Good beef ribs, baby back ribs, brisket, pulled pork, turkey, chicken and sausage. You can get family style combos with different combinations of meats. Good potato salad, cole slaw and beans. The bread that they bake on site is very good with some butter. As good of bread... More

State Line has the best food in that local area .... & the bread pudding is some of the richest I ever had! Definitely worth throwing the diet out for a meal or two!!

Been here many times; the chicken is delicious. Pink from the smoker, but is not too smokey. Just the right amount. And the ribs? Oh so good! All of the sides are great, including the cobbler for dessert! YUM!

Unassuming restaurant that lies on the state line between Texas and New Mexico. Where you sit determines what state you are in. Food was good and reasonable - centered on steaks, ribs and pulled pork. Ambiance made it enjoyable and service was good. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
