Its a good place, More of a Meat Lover's Place

Cons: it takes a while to eat there if with a big party, if you like ribs, sausage, bread, brisket, chicken, then this is a great place. The atmosphere is good, a little on the dark side, western. I recommend the platters and eating during the lunch specials.

Food was just OK - a bit pricey, we thought. Seems it gets a lot of business from the locals, so there's a good deal of activity at this restaurant.

Friendly atmosphere with huge portions. Be sure to ask for the bread if it doesn't come with your meal. Had the brisket and no room for dessert. Ask for a local brew to make the experience complete

We were told about this place by the hotel shuttle driver when we stayed downtown El Paso recently, was a little drive away, but worth it. A good crowd there, but the place is good size also, seated right away. Had a pleasant server, I was not starving & had the beef stuffed potato & it was very good. My... More

We try and get to State Line about once a month. The food is consistently exceptional, the waitstaff is always friendly and they have really good margaritas. I don't think I've ever had a bad visit. The bread and honey butter is worth the trip alone!

Cute Texas decor Friendly staff, our waitress was helful and attentive Really liked the southwestern style beans, Pulled pork was. Excellent as was the chicken. My husband had the beef brisket which was disappointing. The meat was chewy. Another of our dining companions order the sausage and said it was tasty. Hot bread is fresh out of oven be careful... We had a large group of people and while waiting for tables to be set up we sat in there large bar area. The bartender was great at getting us drinks while we waited. The waitress was helpful and patient with our group. The food was all amazingly tasty!

I have been coming to the State Line for over 30 years and have never had a bad meal. If you like meat, their meat is so good, the BBQ sauce should be on the side and used sparingly! Their homemade loafs of bread are perfect for soaking up any excess juice & sauce! The service is always friendly and... More

The big daddy! A full rack of beefy ribs coupled with generous portions of potato salad or other choice of sides. The brisket was also yummy as was their chicken. Great atmosphere too! Great for any occasion.

Not a good place for a vegetarian, but if you like meat this is the place in El Paso! Great price, great food, ample serving size. Slow smoked prime rib to die for. Sausage, brisket, ribs, even chicken. Best strawberry lemonade anywhere! A don't miss when you're in town!
