The State LIne has always been a family favorite; whenever we have company in town, it's the first place they want to go. The service is always friendly, the food taste & quality is always above & beyond.

Even if you got a new pair of slippers for a birthday or Christmas, you know how you still wear your old "comfy" slippers? Pretty much the same with State Line Restaurant. It's an established old chain restaurant, and hasn't changed much over the years, except for the prices, a no-brainer. The restaurant is right on the Texas/New Mexico State... More

The restaurant could use a good cleaning, the staff needs serious training in customer service. I was seated at my table by the hostess and it took at least 8-10 min for a server to come for drink orders. then she takes our order and walks away and comes back because she could not remember what we said. The food... More

Overall, I had an average barbecue dinner at Stateline. I ordered the three meat combo with sliced brisket, sausage, and pork ribs. If I go back I'll request my barbecue sauce on the side rather than the meat being drenched in it. Service was average. Price was a little high, I had water and the total price was $19 without... Average BBQ but the ribs were quite tasty. Located at the TX/NM west border and does have good party room and outdoor seating for concerts/dancing.

This place looks much better than the food tastes... The only reason I can fathom for the "Excellent/Very Good" reviews are that the drunks coming out of the adjacent liquor store and Adult video store want under cooked ribs. Save your money and just stay away...

My ribs had a funky citrus taste to them. And at first I thought it was my imagination, but my boyfriend tried a bite and confirmed they definitely had an orange flavor to them. The bbq sauce was very bland, and as soon as we started eating, we jokingly said, "can we go somewhere else?" All joking aside, we weren't... More

Although I live nearby, State Line has become a rare visit for me. Last night's meal included a mass of sour/sweet BBQ sauce, a sour and slightly bitter slaw, and a potato salad that consisted almost entirely of ground pickles, which was very sour and very bitter. We could not eat anything that the potato salad came into contact with,... More

My husband and I went to eat lunch here. The atmosphere was awesome. I really wanted to love this place, but I just thought it was ok. I ordered the 2 meat plate for lunch. I had the baby back ribs and the beef brisket which came with cole slaw, beans, potato salad and homemade bread. The brisket was good,... More
