Huge beef ribs

Finally had a chance to stop and try this place out. Was not disappointed. Got the three rib plate with a half loat side of wheat bread. I ate one rib and the great side dishs (slaw, beans, potato salad) and took two ribs home for later!

The marbled brisket was so tender you almost had to eat it with a spoon because it kept falling off of the fork.

We've never had a bad meal here. Convenient to get to. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach but the food was so good.

I've been to State Line several times and it has never disappointed. It is worth springing for the homemade bread. I always get the same main course - the two meat combo with pulled pork and lean brisket. Also, the "how to talk cowboy" recording that the play in the restrooms is hilarious!

Great prices, excellent food, unusually good atmosphere and service. I never leave this place without a bloated stomach. This place is just what you would expect from a really good BBQ restaurant and steakhouse. I cannot think of a bad thing to say about it. Its so good that we are even going here tomorrow for Valentines Day. Sounds corny,... More

We had a 25 minute wait for our table on a Saturday night, but well worth it. The staff was very friendly and our server was helpful. You have to pay extra for their special homemade 1/2 loaf bread, but it is well worth it. Our dinner portions were huge and so good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered the lean sliders because I didn't want the sides of coleslaw, potato salad or beans. Although the meat had a really good flavor, there was chewy gristle in it. Perhaps I should have ordered the pulled pork or regular meat! Great service though and nice atmosphere. I'd go back but order the pulled pork. The sides don't look... More
