I was really hoping to like this place. The atmosphere was nice. The guacamole tasted weird. The steak in my taco was poor quality meat. Very chewy and blah. I would skip this place.

One of my favorite dishes ever is at this restaurant. The Pechuga California. I will come and eat at Forti's EVERY time I get to El Paso. The margaritas are also fantastic.....you can tell there is tequila in them!!! (Not just all sweet and sour mix). Their chips are awesome as well. They sure seem like they are handmade and... More

The reason for my attempt at visiting the restaurant was because of the post about their delicious cheesecake... and because my sister was hungry. We stopped by at 9:45, since the closing time online AND on their outdoor sign said 11 pm. We entered the front door because even their neon "OPEN" sign was lit. Despite all those "open" indications,... More

Forti's is a great restaurant. We have eaten at Forti's Mexican Elder in El Paso, TX, for many years. The food is always delicious and spicy, with a variety of dishes for Mexican food as well as American items. The restaurant is spacious with a lovely fountain, live entertainment, and beautiful decor. The salsa and chips are truly unique in... More

Very good authentic Mexican food. Here for dinner with my partner. We had fun. The waiter was attentive to our needs. His name was Jonathan. We ordered queso and he brought it to the table flaming. Was fun. We were in the dinning room nearest the bar area. They had a gentleman singing in Spanish. It was light music and... More

This has been a stopping point for me for years. It has always been excellent. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is quite authentic. Stopped in for dinner passing through town, and it's still great after many years of being out of town. Definitely recommend!

Eaten here several times and haven't had a bad experience. Location can be tough to find as its off the main drags. Salsa is spicy so you need to watch yourself with the chips, portions are a good size. Service is good. Margaritas are potent

We were in El Paso for one night and had been told about this place. Not the classiest neighborhood but safe. I love Mexican food and what better place then to find it then El Paso. The restaurant is much bigger then you would think from the Parking lot. The service was really attentive and the food was that good... More

Went for a wedding reception, sewer smell in restaurant and in the women's bathroom. restaurant left door open, unwise. The buffet was cold and unappetizing. The chile was too hot.
