This place has a big salad bar of pre-prepared salads and packaged veggies and a homemade soup. Some salads that are doctored up are good . The soup and the beans are good. They come with your steak or burger o sandwich qhich are all very good.. I would stay away from the seafood platter which is usually good at... More

I went here with two co-workers for dinner on our first night in El Paso. We weren't disappointed. We were seated quickly, even though the place was quite full. Our server was quite attentive throughout the evening and kept drinks refilled and empty dishes cleared. I ordered the New York Strip with a loaded baked potato; both were excellent. The... More

The salad bar is quite impressive. It was fresh and tasty. Lots of options. What was the biggest disappointment was the steak. The first few bites were tasty but then as I got into my New York Strip it was mostly gristle and fat. It was extremely hard to 2 & I had to spit out some of it. Service... More

Steaks here are great, burgers are even better, and the salad bar is even better than both. I have been here three times over various trips here for business and never had a bad experience. Walking distance from a lot of the airport hotels. Get a full meal if you are starving, portions are huge. Eating light just get the... More

Was there for lunch with a group of friends with a reservation. Good service, nice lunch menu, enjoyed the salad bar and the prime rib.

Excellent steaks and a great salad bar. Prices and variety of meat is very good. Seafood is also not too bad. Frequent visitor.

Cattle Baron is widely know for their excellent salad bar. The food ranges from adequate to pretty good. The steaks are not bad, but sometimes the seafood is lacking. Recommend the tampico style on the steaks with long green chilis adorning them. The bar is good as well. It's a good night out with friends.

This was convenient to the airport hotels. Big salad bar if you like that kind of thing. I had prime rib which was cooked to order. Veggies were kind of soggy.

On a recent business trip, I met with two groups of my colleagues, once for lunch and another for dinner at the Cattle Baron. The first time that I was there, I ordered the steak. After all, the Cattle Baron is a steakhouse; they should know about steaks, right? Wrong. Even though the cut of my steak was a good... More

I was looking for somewhere new to go for my husband's birthday and a friend recommended Cattle Baron. The decor was better than I expected and the food was worse. They have a giant salad bar but it seemed kind of picked over. The steaks were good but a little over done. Next time we want steak I think that... More
