Although the salad bar was impressive in size, the quality was lacking. The mixed salad - main attraction to salad bar, had some old pieces wilted through out . The soup lacked flavor and my prime rib came from the kitchen cold. I ordered it medium and couldn't cut it w/the supplied steak knife. You get what you pay for...

From the name you would think that this was an up market steak restaurant. It's not, but it's not bad. It's very dated and the food is ok, and to be fair the prices reflect that. Our server was terrific on the night so all in all we had a decent meal for a decent price but way below our... More

Thought we would be enjoying a great steak dinner but as it turned out, the potato was the best thing on my plate. If you are a fan of salad bars you may want to try this place, if not I'd skip it.

We always have dinner here when we're traveling in/out of El Paso International Airport. The salad bar is huge, loaded with lots of fresh veggies, fruits, soups, breads, desserts, etc. The steaks and seafood have always been good. This time of year (November), it's the Green Chili Stew that we can't get enough of. Slightly spicy, full of steak, potatoes,... More

Went to this restaurant twice on the same day for lunch and dinner. There was 2 reason that had us back...the Salad bar which is very well organized and high no of variety. The catfish was fresh and well cooked. When I went there for dinner had their Jalapeno rotisserie chicken which was excellent. Overall the ambiance and the service... More

The lunch choices are good and properly priced. The prime rib is excellent as is the lunch steak. The salad bar used to be much better. Last time we went on a Friday, they ran out of tortilla soup and potato soup. They only had chicken noodle. Also, the lettuce was just iceberg. No spinach, no arugula, no raddichio, no... More

This was a nice, busy restaurant close to the airport. I ordered the special Steak Diane. It was good, but the meat was underseasoned (perhaps unseasoned would be a better descriptor). It was nicely cooked and our waiter was great. Sides and crabcake appetizer were all good. Not outstanding, kind of generic, but fine for a meal if you want... More

In El Paso for work at Ft Bliss and was looking for a good steak and salad. Went to an old favorite "Cattle Baron" near the airport and had a great meal. One of the best salad bars around and I also enjoyed the broccoli soup. Their fresh bread is great also. I truely enjoyed their 12 oz prime rib-medium... More

Expensive corporate steak house that can't get quality into its products. People are there for the salad bar I went for a good steak, my mistake. Bartenders pour beer everywhere except into a glass to fill it... sad very very sad. Skip this place...Applebees is across the parking lot.

It is part of a chain with several location in Texas, including two in El Paso. The one we went a couple of the time is at walking distance from the airport. It has a nice design and decor and it is very comfortable. The quality of food and service, and the cost, place it in a midrange steakhouses. The... More
